Chapter Uno
Joe was excited today was the day he wouldmeet his dance parter for Dancing With the Stars. He remembered five months ago getting the call to ask if he wanted to participate. He was told that his partener would be Julie Maran. She was a new da ncer, so he had never seen her before. He figured it might work out well because she was the same age as him, eighteen. Kevin dropped Joe off at the studio.
"Good Luck!" He said as he drove off.
Joe walked into the studio. He almost dropped the flowers he had bought Julie. He had just seen one of the most beautiful girls in the world.
"Hi!" Julie said as she walked over "I'm Julie."
"Uh...Um...I'm Joe."
"Nice to finally meet you!"
"Uh...These are for you." Joe said, handing her the flowers.
"Oh! Thank you!" She held the flowers up to her nose, "Roses are my favorite!"
Joe grinned. By some stroke of sheer luck, he picked out her favorite flower.
"So, what's our first dance?" Joe asked, trying to get a conversation going.
"Oh, we're dancing the mambo."
Julie turned back to the mirror and started practicing some complicated looking dance moves. Then she seemed to have read his mind.
"The mambo is a very, um...close contact Latin dance. It's very um...hot and spicy I guess you could say."
Joe nodded and grinned.
"So we'll start tomorrow. Be here around six."
She stopped dancing.
"It was really nice to meet you!"
"You too!" Joe said.
He walked out of the room. He had seen other of the Dancing With the Stars couples dancing the mambo. Though she didn't want to say it, he knew that they would be doing some pretty lovey dovey dancing.
