~!Chapter 1!~

I'll Be There

I stood in the hospital room looking at the charts of the little seven year old boy.

"Is he going to be ok?"Someone asked from behind me

I turned around and was met by a gorgeous guy.He had brown shaggy hair and beautiful brown eyes.

"I'm not his doctor i am just a voulnteer.But yes he should be alright."I said

"What does that mean?"He asked

"What mean?"I questioned

"The voulnteer thing."He said

"It means i am going to medical school here in the next year and i am just voulnteering to learn the ropes."I said

"Oh i understand."He said

"Yes.So is he your brother?"I asked pointing to the little boy in the bed.

"Ya."He said

"What happened?"I asked

I saw his eyes fill up with tears but he just swallowed them back.

"He fell down the stairs when i was supposed to be watching him."He said

"Oh i'm sorry.He will be ok though he is just going to take some time to wake up and stuff."I said

"Ok thank you."He said

"Ya."I said

Beep....Beep....Beep.

I glanced down at the pager i was wearing.

"No."I groaned

"What is it?"He asked

"I'm on clinic duty."I said

"Normal speak."He said

"It means i half to go down to the clinic and help out nurses and doctors with patients and stuff like that.It gets so boring."I said

"Oh well i'm sorry have fun."He said

"Ya i will try."I said

Then i walked past him to get out the door.

"Oh by the way i'm Joe."He said

"Bree."I said

Then i took off to the clinic.

After working in the clinic for three hours i had to go and do check up on some of the other patients.

I walked into the room where i had been with Joe earlier but Joe wasn't in there but his brother was still in the bed.

I looked over his charts and marked everything down.

"Hi."I heard a sweet little voice say

I looked over at the bed and saw that he was awake.

"Oh you awake."I said

"Ya."He said

"Who are you?"He asked

"I am kinda a doctor almost my name is Bree."I said

"Oh i'm Frankie."He said

"Well hi Frankie.How are you feeling right now?"I asked

"My head kinda hurts and also my arm hurts i am sleepy but i don't want to go back to bed."He said

"Well your head will hurt fro a few more days and your arm we can give you something for that.And sleeping is good for you."I said

"Will you at least lay down with me Bree?"Frankie asked

I glanced at my silent pager then i looked at the door nobody was there or anything.

"Alright bu only for a little while."I said

Then i climed onto the little hospital bed and layed next to Frankie.He rolled over and rested his head on my shoulder and i wrapped my arm around him.

And before i knew it he was asleep.

"He is in here."I heard someone say

I glanced at the door and saw three guys walk in.

I just smiled at them.

"He woke up for a little bit but he is asleep again."I whispered.

I finally got to see Joe smile and it was a beautiful smile

I slowly moved Frankie off of me then i climbed out of the bed.I brushed out my brown hair then i fixed my pants and shirt.

"Thanks."Joe said

"Ya no problem."I said

I started walking towards the door so the guys could be alone with Frankie.

"Bree."I heard a little voice say

I turned around and Frankie was trying to sit up in his bed.

"Hey little buddy you need to lay down."I said as i walked back over to his bed.

"I don't want you to leave me."He said

"But i half to i get off work in ten minuets and i need to go find the boss before i leave."I said

"Please stay."Frankie said

"I would but i must go Frankie."I said

"Ok."He said as he layed down and closed his eyes.

"Bye buddy."I said

"Bye Bree."He said with his eyes still closed.

I walked out of the room and walked into the elecator.

"Hold the door!"Someone yelled

I held the door open for whoever it was then Joe walked into the elevator.I let the doors close.

"Hey."He said

"Hi."I said

"Frankie really likes you."Joe said

"He is a sweet kid."I said

"Ya and if you could you know visit him as much as possible that would make him the happiest kid in the world."Joe said

"Tell him i will see him tomorrow.And that i wish i could stay here with him tonight but i can't."I said

"Why can't you?"Joe asked

"I kinda have another commitment."I said

"Boyfriend?"Joe asked

"That's none of your bussiness."I said

Then the doors opened up.

"I'll let Frankie know you couldn't make i because of another guy."Joe said

Then he walked out the doors and then they closed leaving me standing there with my mouth open and thinking about that jerk.
