Chapter Four

A few days later Nicole’s cell phone beeped. “One New Text Message” said the front screen. Nicole clicked the read button and her heart fluttered in her chest, Hey Nicole. How’s everything on the east coast? –NickJ. Nicole quickly typed back a response Boring. As Usual. How’s the tour? –Nic<3. And so it went. Nicole and Nick texted back and forth until around four when Nick had to go for his sound check, Nicole was convinced that they would’ve texted the whole day.
*NICKS POINT OF VIEW*
The whole concert that night I thought about nothing about Nicole or, “Nikki” as I had dubbed her. I had never felt this way about a girl since, since well Miley, who skrewed that whole thing up by kissing me onstage, when we “weren’t dating”. Anyway, back to Nikki. Every word that came out of my mouth was for her; every not my hands strum was for her. I was sure my brothers had noticed my new enthusiasm because as we walked back in to the hallway Joe said to me,
“You should do something to tell her you really care”. I thought about it for the minute and came up with a brilliant idea, I looked up her number in my phone and hit the send button. She answered after the first ring, “Hello?” her soft magical voiced questioned
“Hey Nikki” I said.
“Nick! Hey! How was the show?” she said
“Good. Next week is your spring break right?”
“Mhmm” she replied
“How would you like to join us for our last concert on this tour, in New Jersey, we could pick you up after are show in New Hampshire, because we pass right though Massachusetts anyway and then you can come with us” I sat in silence well she thought about it, to make this plan work she would have to be there for the last show.
“Well, I have to ask my parents, but I would love to come”
“Okay,” I replied, “Emma and Erin are going to be there as well”
“Okay” she said, “Hold On let me ask”
“We don’t have time left to regret, Hold On” I started singing I heard her giggle before going to ask her parents. She came back to the phone out of breath
“THEY SAID YES!” she said in an excited voice. I leaned back in to the couch before answering, “Sweeeet” I replied.
Um..Yeah its really short but I always say that!
Hahaha.
