I've been reading Fanfictions off this site for a little while, and I thought I'd try posting one of my own. I came up with this story on my way to class. It's a little different but hopefully you'll like it. Let me know what you think. I hope it's all good...
I'm with the band.
Chapter1.0
What if I told you, that America’s hottest band of brothers was hiding something? You, being the die hard fans you are, wouldn’t believe me right? Of course. Well, they are. Don’t get me wrong, it really was my choice not to have a legion of fans at my feet because of my last name. I wanted a normal life. Who am I kidding though? My brothers, that’s right, are part of one of (if not THE) “biggest music phenomenon” like, ever and they want to share it with me. My name? Maggie Jonas and this? This is my story as the Jonas sister.
“Mags! Mags, wake up” Joe Jonas shook my covers off.
“Joe! Go away” I muttered, still half asleep.
“Uh-uh, not happening. Get up” He poked my back repeatedly.
“I swear if this is about another one of your Barney dreams…” I trailed off, sitting in bed.
“G’Morning” he sat on the edge of my bed with a foolish grin on his face.
“Morning” I tried putting on a serious face but truth be told, Joe makes it impossible. After a second of staring at his Cheshire cat-like grin, we both started laughing madly.
“Seriously now, Mom says breakfast is ready” Joe stopped laughing and told me.
“I’ll be right down” I nodded and slid off my bed as Joe walked out of my room.
Let’s recap, shall we? While 99,99% of you girls would probably sell one of your body parts to have Joseph Adam Jonas wake you up almost every morning, I get it whether I want it or not. Don’t get me wrong, he’s my twin brother and I love him to death but I just don’t see him like you do. To me, he’s clumsy-trip on everything in sight-Joe, not Rock-superstar-sings like an angel-Joe. Anyway, I got out of bed and straightened out my plaid purple flannel pajama pants along with my black t-shirt(here!) and went out in the hall towards to bathroom. Finding it empty, a rare and almost impossible occurrence, I went inside to quickly brush my teeth and wash my face.
“Maggie?” Frankie, the smallest of my brothers, poked his head in the bathroom. “Breakfast is ready” he added as I dried my face off with a towel.
“’Kay, let’s go” I followed him down the hall and then down the stairs.
I walked in the kitchen and breathed in all the delicious smells coming my way. Waffles, bacon, eggs, you name it and my mother probable cooked it.
“Good Morning everyone” I greeted as I took my seat between my older brother Kevin and my twin brother Joe.
“Good Morning Margaret” My dad, Paul Kevin Jonas said looking up from his newspaper.
“Coffee, Maggie?” My mom, Denise, asked from her seat.
“Please, Mommy” I nodded smiling.
“Hey Mags, pass the juice please” Nick, my younger brother, asked with a full teeth grin. Be jealous fangirls, be jealous.
“Here you go Nick J” I passed him the juice as I joined hands with both Kevin and Joe. Everyone else joined hands and bowed their heads as we gave thanks for everything; the food, our family, the boys’ success, Nick’s health, the list goes on…
“Amen” My dad said and everyone dug in.
Fangirls, meet my family. My 20 year-old brother Kevin, guitarist for none other than THE Jonas Brothers; my 18 year-old twin brother Joe, singer for the same band; younger brother 1 is 15 year-old Nick and he’s the reason it all got started; younger brother 2 is 7 year-old Frankie, what can I say? He’s the man. My mom, Denise is my best friend and my companion through the whole boy-invaded-house thing. My dad, Paul Kevin Senior, he’s some character. I respect and admire him a lot but he’s quite overprotective of me, which puts a strain on our father-daughter relationship. My brothers help me out though.
I looked around the table and smiled broadly. I love our family breakfasts; they don’t come enough so I enjoy them when they do.
It was finally Summer and I was looking forward to spending time with my brothers until I heard the news.
“Have you boys told your sister the news?” My dad said in between bites of waffle.
“Not yet Dad, but thanks for ruining it” Joe piped up, glancing at Nick and Kevin.
“What crazy award did you guys win now?” I chuckled, enjoying my own waffle.
Kevin shook his head and looked at Nick.
“What’s the news then?” I asked putting my fork down.
“We booked a Summer-long tour” Nick said calmly, waiting for my outburst.
“Oh…That’s great guys” I smiled and turned back to my breakfast, finding fascination in a stray piece of bacon on my plate. I didn’t say anything else for the rest of the meal.
Nick, Joe and Kevin exchanged looks and nodded. I shrugged inwardly, who knew what those boys were up to?
