She's Found Her True Love FF [COMMENTS PLEASE!]

ok I've decided to start a thread all over and post all the chapters together,so they arent scattered. Hope i get more comments here then the old thread

Kaydence sat in the dark listening to her parents outside her bedroom talk behind her back.

"She has to go, shes got no choice".Her father said.

"She can't go, shes still my baby". Her mother said back.

"She has to Lorri, We can't have a fifteen year old girl running around causing trouble".He almost shouted.

"She isnt causing trouble". Her mother shouted in his face.

"Then what do u call sneaking off with an older boy and getting caught at his place by his parents". He said back.He sighed and started talking again.

"She just has to go, she'll be in good hands. I'm sure she'll take good care of her and turn her around".

Kaydence got up and quietly opened her bedroom door and peeked out, seeing her parents sitting at the kitchen table.

She stood there with tears near to her eyes, worried this might be the last fight they will ever have over her.

Her parents were constantly fighting, and she always wished they would stop, so her heart wouldnt break anymore.

Chapter 2

She walked back in her room and started packing. knowing exactly what was going to happen.

She didnt like it one bit, but if it stopped her parents from fighting, then she would do it for them.

Kaydence wasn't sure who she would be staying with, but she was sure they would be nice people.

She packed her clothes,books and music, and packed her tv in it's box.

She sat there with her guitar and started strumming.

Its six A.M. and I'm wide awake
Cause I can't stop thinking
About the stuff you were saying to me

The paper's not here yet, the sun's not up
But I'm not afraid to tell you what I feel inside
I had one of those dreams that makes it all so

Who was being the fake

She continued playing til the end of the song, then put the guitar down.

She layed back on her bed looking up at the ceiling, letting the tears fall from her eyes.

Chapter 3

I ended up falling asleep that night and waking up the next morning to the sun shining through my large window.

I got up and stretched before changing into some clean clothes and sitting down on my bed, taking out my cellphone.

I began to text my bff Crystal, telling her I was going to come over in a few minutes.

I waited for the OK before walking out of the house and down the street.

Walking down this street might be the last time, seeing Crystal might be the last, So i had to make the best of a bad situation.

I saw her house coming into view and i started walking faster.

I walked up her driveway and up to her door. I knocked and stood back to wait.

I heard someone on the other side and the door flung open.

"Hi Kaydence, Come in". Crystal's father said."Crystal is in her regular place".

"Thank you". I said and started for the stairs. I walked calmly up them and down the hall.

Chapter 4

I stood outside Crystal's door, trying to get on my hyper side before i went inside.

I finally felt hyper enough after 5 minutes and went running into her room and threw myself on her bed and ontop of her.

"Get off me Kay". She giggled pushing me off her." Your gonna wreck my music".

"Sorry". I said getting off her and sat at the end of her bed picking up her music and reading it.

"Did you really write this?". I asked.

"Uh ya, you dont think my annoying sister or my parents would write it do you?". She asked with sarcasym.

"Uh no, I cant picture them writing music". I said with a laugh.

"Ya, so what's up?". She asked.

"um, my parents are sending me away". I said trying not to cry.

"WHAT.... Why?". She asked near to tears.

"Because of what happened with Jarred". I said quietly.

"Oh.. Well where are you going?". Crystal said scooting closer and giving me a sideways hug.

"I don't know yet, all i heard was that

"Awwww". Crystal said giving me a bigger hug.
I'll be in good hands. some lady will take good care of me and turn me around". I spoke quietly yet again.

Chapter 5

Later on that night I went home. I walked up the stairs and continued packing whatever i wouldnt need until i left.

As i was packing my clean laundry into the box with all the other clothes, I heard a small knock on my door and my mother popped in.

"Did you have fun at Crystal's?". She said not knowing what to say.

"Ya, its gonna be a shame i can't keep going there". I said giving her the look.

"What do you mean hunny?". She asked as if she didn't know what I was talking about.

"I mean I heard you and dad talking last night, and I know I'm leaving". I said not looking at her.

"Your father think's it's for the best, He's only doing it because he think's it's best for you". She told me.

"Where am I going anyways?". I asked.

"Your going to stay with a friend of mine in New Jersey, Her name is Denise and she's got kids your age". She said.

"Oh Ok". I said not knowing what else to say.

My mom reached over and pulled me into a hug."I'm going to miss it here". I said.

"I know hunny, I know". She said rubbing my back.

"You better get some rest, your going to be leaving tomorrow after lunch".She said getting up and leaving the room.

I ended up crying myself to sleep that night, with thoughts running through my head.

What would they be like? Would they like me? Is it boring in New Jersey? Would I make any friends?

Chapter 6

I woke the next morning to a knock on my door. "Argh, Who's knocking on my door.....". I said looking at my clock. " at 9:45 in the morning".

"Kay hunny, It's time to get up and get ready". My mom said trying to stay calm, although i could hear the sadness in her voice.

"Alright I'm coming". I told her with tiredness in my voice. I never woke up this early. I've never woken up any earlier than 10 before, which is why I'll probably be cranky later.

I slowely got out of bed, took the clothes I set out the night before and went into the bathroom to change. I brushed my teeth and straightened my hair, applying some lipgloss and eyeshadow.

I quickly packed the last of my things in my room and went downstairs. I'm sure going to miss these stairs and my room.

I went into the kitchen where my parents were sitting. My father sat reading the newspaper and my mother stood at the stove cooking what looks to be pancakes.

We ate up quickly, then rushed around the house picking up last minute things to pack before we had to leave. A half hour later we were headed out the door towards the car.

We drove for nearly an hour and a half before arriving at an airport.

"Denise said to meet you here, You'll all be going on a little trip". My mother said turning around in her seat looking at me.

"Oh ok". I said not really listening.

We got out and headed inside, walking over to a little cafe and sitting down at one of the little tables.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom, I'll be back in a minute". I told my parents.

I got up and walked out of the cafe, leaving my parents there to have thier coffee's.

I sat down in one of the airport chairs, opening my backpack and taking out a picture of my best friend.

I sat there for a few minutes, not realizing that I was crying. I cried harder until I saw a shadow in front of me and someone talking.

"Are you okay?". It asked.

Chapter 7

I looked up seeing a boy with curly brown hair staring down at me with concern.

"Ya I'm fine". I said wipping my tears on my shirt and grabbing my things.

"Are you sure, normally people don't cry for no reason". he told me.

"I just have a lot going on. My parents are making me move in with some people I dont know". I said.

"Kaydence huh?". He asked.

"Ya, how do you know my name?". I asked him getting kinda scared.

"Hi, I'm Nick. My mother is Denise. You're going to be staying with us". He said with a smile.

"oh um ok. I'm Kaydence, but my friends call me Kay". I said with a smile matching his.

I wasnt sure what to say or do, but Nick stepped forward and took me in a hug. I wasnt used to people I didnt know hugging me,which made me tense.

But after a minute I started to relax. He pulled away a minute later with a smile still on his face.

"Sorry, you'll have to get use to that. It'll happen quite a bit". He told me with a laugh.

I let out a little laugh and decided I had better go back to see my parents.

"I guess I better get back to my mom and dad". I said looking towards the cafe.

"Ya ok, I guess I'll go get everyone and we'll meet you there". He replied.

"Ya ok. Thanks Nick. I think I'm going to like it in New Jersey". I said looking him in the eyes with a smile.

"Me too". He said looking back at me with a smile." I mean, I think your going to like it there too....". He rambled nervously.

I laughed and said "I think I get what your trying to say".

"Ya, So I guess I'll see you in a few". He said.

"Yup. I'll see ya in a few". I said.

I went back to the Cafe where my parents still sat drinking what looked to be their 2nd coffee.

I took a seat awaiting Nick's return.

Chapter 8

10 more minutes sitting there drinking an Orange Soda, I heard someone clear their voice and I looked up with a smile.

"Hi". I said smiling.

"Hey". He said smiling back.

He turned around and yelled. "Mom... Dad, their over here".

A minute later a man and a lady appeared with 3 other boys.

"Lorri.... Oh is so good to see you again". The lady said going up to my mom and giving her a big hug.

"It's so good to see you too Denise". My mom said with a smile.

They turned towards me and my mom smiled.

"Denise.. This is my daughter Kaydence".She said.

"Hi". I smiled shyly.

"Hello there Kaydence.. It's nice to meet you". Denise said.

"You too". I spoke.

"This is my husband Kevin and my sons Kevin,Joe,Nick and Frankie". She introduced.

I smiled towards Nick." Hi guys". I said.

"Hello". They chorused.

Nick was the first one to step forward for a hug. He wrapped his arms around me in a hug like he had nearly 15 minutes before.

A minute later he let go and took his place back next to his brothers.

Next was Kevin and his hug was just as long as Nick's, But I couldnt compare them.

Joe and Frankie followed behind with their hugs minutes later.

Chapter 9

We had all been sitting down for a drink while my parents and the Jonas's chatted.

Us kids sat at another table chatting.

"So my parents said something about us going on a little trip?". I asked the boys.

"Um you could say that". Kevin spoke up.

"So..... where are we going?". I asked once again. At the moment I was filled with lots of questions to be answered.

"Let's just say.... you wouldnt be able to remember all the places". Joe said trying to joke.

"Oh, so alot of places I assume". I replied.

"In a way". Nick said still looking at me.

I could'nt help but smile back at him.

He was just so cute with that curly brown hair and those amazing brown eyes.

I took a sip of my drink and listened to the boys talk.

Somewhat near an half hour later we were saying good bye to my parents and we were leaving.

"Goodbye mom... I love you". I told her giving her the biggest hug.

"Oh Kay, hunny I love you too... You be good for Denise okay". She told me.

"I will". I promised her.

I always kept my promises, and never broke them unless absolute necessary.

I stepped back and stood next to Nick waiting for the grownups goodbyes.

As the grownups said goodbye,us kids headed out to the car.

"you wanna sit next to me". Nick said after we got outside.

"Ok sure". I told him.

I was so glad I had someone like Nick there to be my friend.

Chapter 10

We each took turns getting in the car. Joe and Kevin sitting in the back. Nick,Frankie and myself in the middle.And their parents in the front.

I learned Nick was 15,Joe was 18,Kevin was 20 and Frankie was 8.

Nick's favourite singer was Stevie Wonder, Joe's was Switchfoot and Kevin's was John Mayer.

We all got to know quite a bit about eachother just in that hour drive to their house.

After arriving to thier house, the boys helped me with my things and we all went inside.

"Nick dear.. will you show Kaydence to her room please?". Denise asked.

"Sure mom". Nick responded, taking a couple of my bags and leading the way up the stairs.

I grabbed the last bag and followed him up the stairs and down a hall.

He stopped at the last door on the right and opened it.

"I hope you like it, my girlfriend Malou,Joe's gf Nat,and Kevin's gf Spencer picked alot of it out".He told me.

"Its gorgeous". I exclaimed turning to Nick. I walked over to him and gave him a hug.

"Thanks Nick". I whispered into his shoulder.

"For what?".He asked.

"Just for being here, and being the only one to go to right now". I explained.

"Its nothing... really. I'll always be here when you need someone". He smiled.

"So um... I guess I'll let you get settled and I'll come get you in an hour or so for dinner".He replied.

"Okay... I think I'm just gonna lay here for a bit". I stated sitting on the bed.

"Okay... see you in a bit". He said and then closed the door.
