Ten Things To Do Before…
Ten- Steal something from someone famous
That someone famous wasn’t just anyone, she wanted to steal it from one of the boys she adored most. Either Joseph, Nicholas or Paul Kevin, surname Jonas. And she has to make a plan as to how to get what she wants. It didn’t take long to find their house, their car was easily followed, but she had to make a plan as to how to get inside and take something from them. A week after following them home for the first time she watched them leave before making her way inside their yard, and up to the house. An open window on the second floor seemed like the easiest route of entry and when she finally got inside she grinned. It was deff the room of a teenager boy or two. Finally she decides on what she wants to steal, a straightener, something that they would notice right away probably.
Nine- Elude the police
She hadn’t expected them back so soon after leaving so when she heard their front door open she hurried back out the window. She made it halfway across the backyard before she heard the screaming. She could hear the people running after her and made it to her car before anyone caught her. She heard the police sirens coming and speeds off trying not to get caught. She slows her car down when she reaches the main road before stopping in at a coffee shop, Starbucks to be exact, to get a little fix. Not that she needed it, she managed to cross of two things on her list in a matter of fifteen minutes, but she figured it would help her jitters. She had never done anything illegal before and her fingers were jumping now that she had. As soon as she walked in the door she spotted a familiar face though and frowned.
Eight- Meet A Jonas Brother
Her eyes shown a brilliant shade of green as she walked over to the hazel eyed boy. She grinned when he looked up, his face holding a little frown. She introduced herself and they talked for a while before his phone started to ring. He picked it up and both of them could hear his younger brother whining about a straightener that was stolen. She let out a loud laugh and his eyes turn to her confused. She just shook her head and stood to leave only to have him stop her before she could make it very far. He questioned about her, wondering how old she was and if he could have her phone number. She complied with a laugh explaining that she was three years younger than he was and giving out the digits to her cell. He let out a sigh and then mentioned his brother, the one whose straightener she had in her passenger seat. She just nodded and laughed before walking out the door.
Seven- Go To A Jonas Brothers Concert
She had tickets to their concert that night, and it probably wasn’t the smartest thing to steal the main boys straightener. His hair wasn’t it’s normal straight, it’s normal plastered down, overly straight, straight hair, but it was still straight. She was first row center and as soon as the oldest boy saw her he got a smile on his face. When the middle boy walked over to him he said something and nodded in her direction causing the middle boy to look and a smile to break out on his face. He reached his hand into his pocket and then grabbed her hand causing something to fall into it. She looked down shocked at the backstage pass and a smile broke out onto her face. She would be able to cross something else off of her list.
Six- Get Backstage at a Jonas Brothers Concert
It hadn’t even been hard to get backstage at the concert, after he saw her he gave them to her without a care. She walked backstage following the large man she was running from only hours before into a room where the three boys are. She hugged the oldest boy first, he was the one closest to the door, then the youngest and then the middle. She smiled and laughed and joked and teased with the boys and then they came to the subject of the middle boys hair. She tried not to look to guilty as he mentioned how someone broke into their house and stole his straightener. A quick look at the clock on her phone caused her to groan. It was 11:22 PM it was illegal for her to drive after 11 PM in the state, meaning that she was stranded at the amphitheater for another six hours. The boys quickly listened to her problem and then solved it. She was clearly going to hang out with them until she could drive. Which lead her to number five on her list.
Five- Play Chicken in Wal-Mart at 12:30 AM
It was a goal she had been trying to accomplish for a while, but none of her friends thought that riding in a shopping cart, while someone pushes them full speed at someone else in a shopping cart also being pushed full speed was fun or a good idea. She on the other hand thought it was a great idea and when she told the boys the middle one was clearly excited while the other two were a bit more reluctant. Finally it was agreed upon that they would push the carts while she and the middle boy rid in them. They played five times before it happened, before they crashed into one another and their foreheads cracked.
Four- Sleep in a Strangers House/Arms
After chicken ended badly they returned to the scene of her crime and she was carried up the stairs, half asleep and laid in a bed. When she woke up that morning she was shocked to see she was lying in his bed, with him next to her, his arm wrapped around her waist in a protective hold. She couldn’t help but smile and bury her face into his chest gathering his smell. His hold grew tighter and she smiled closing her eyes and drifting back to sleep. When she awoke the second time she was alone a look at the clock says it’s past time for her to be able to drive almost six full hours past. She stretched and looked around before hearing a knock on the door.
Three- Eat Breakfast in Bed with a Cute Boy
He walked in and his eyes shinned when he saw her. He had a tray full of food and she laughed as he sat down on the bed next to her. He said a quick prayer over the food and then they started to eat, ignoring that they were both in their clothes from the day before and that they were making a huge mess in his bed. They talked and laughed and joked and smiled, knowing that their time might be limited together. Soon the food was gone and both knew what was coming. A quick shower for both later and it was almost time.
Two- Wear Someone Else’s Clothes
She didn’t have anything else to wear after her shower so his younger brother gave her a pair of pants and his older gave her a vest while he gave her a t-shirt. She laughed knowing that they were sort of giving her their style opposed to her normal chill style. She took the clothes and made them her own, stealing a bright red belt from the older brother, a pair of socks just to annoy the younger brother and a hat from him. She had to admit that the boys might not have the same style but their clothes looked good together, especially on her. She used a pony tail holder and pulled her hair up before looking in the mirror. She had to admit she liked how she looked in their clothing. Especially his she loved his stuff.
One- Kiss Someone Unexpectedly
His brother drove them to the amphitheater, and she easily spotted her car sitting in the empty parking lot. When the oldest boy parked next to it she thanked him and got out of his car a smile on her face. She expected them to drive away almost immediately but they didn’t because the middle boy got out of the car with her. She smiled and leaned against the rear of her car talking with him. When her phone rang and she spotted her mothers number she lets out a little laugh before picking up. A quick argument later and she looks at the boy who is barely taller than her. She wraps her arms around him, as if giving him a hug, but presses her lips to his before jumping in her car. As she pulls away from them she reaches her hand over and puts his straightener out the window. She can hear his scream as she laughs. Her phone starts to ring and spotting his name and face she smiles before picking up.
While a lot of things in life weren’t certain one thing that was is she managed to do the ten things she wanted to do before she turned 18. And as she smiled listening to him rant and rave she hummed the lyrics to herself.
