Prologue;
“Have I told you how much I love you lately?” Kevin asked, glancing over at me.
“Yes, but tell me again.” I giggled.
“I love you. I’ll love you forever. You are my world.” He said softly, causing a steady blush to creep its way up my neck and onto my cheeks.
“I love you too Kevin.” I said whole heartedly.
He flashed me his gorgeous smile and continued speaking.
“We should get going. Its getting late.” Kevin announced, being his responsible self.
“Fine.” I sighed and stood up. As soon as I was up, I felt a strong hand reach up and pull me back down. I looked at Kevin as he pulled me into a loving embrace.
“I lied.” He said with a sheepish grin. “Just a little bit longer.”
He wrapped his arms around me and gently pulled me towards himself a little bit more. I tilted my head up to place a passionate kiss against his lips that sent shivers down my spine. He instantly deepened the kiss and ran his hands through my blond hair. I pulled away several minutes later breathing hard. I stared deep into his eyes; the eyes of the man I knew I was going to spend the rest of my life with. Just then, as if god had something against us, the sky opened up and began to pour rain down onto us. I shrieked from the coldness of the rain as I quickly got up. We ran as fast as we could, escaping the drastic weather change and taking refugee in Kevin’s jeep. As soon as the car was started and he began driving, he reached his hand over and laced his fingers with mine. I looked up and smiled, but as soon as my eyes locked with his I heard a loud crash and my body was thrown around the car. The next thing I knew, my world went black.
