From Zero to Ever Ever After
Prologue
*Julia’s POV*
We were all laughing, joking around like every Friday night. Though Nick, Kevin, and Joe have to do it over webcam since they are touring.
Let me fill you in. We kind of have this gang. It’s not huge but definitely not small. It consists of me (Julia), Meg, Spencer, Kevin, Joe, Nick, Jojo, Sami, Danni, Lauren, Kati, Josh, and John.
Here is our groups inside our gang. Kevin, Joe, and Nick are the Jonas Brothers while Spencer, Meg, and I are Crossing The Line (don’t ask how we came up with it) so we were known as the bands. JoJo, Lauren, and Kati are known as the dancers. Sami and Danni are known as the twins since they are…twins. John and Josh are known as the pops since they are the most popular guys in school.
So we were all in my living room, talking about what went on in school that week, mostly filling Kevin, Joe, and Nick in on life since they aren’t here. We were just talking about how I accidentally blew up the frog I was suppose to dissect in Mr. Smith’s science class when Josh walked in. John and he are always late for reasons none of us know why, but this time John wasn’t with him and Josh was crying. We all stopped talking and laughing and looked at him. “He’s gone. John is gone. Over…overdose suicide.” That’s all we needed to know. Everyone was crying, except me, but that was because I was passed out on the floor. You see, John is my boyfriend so yeah.
“Julia!!” Nick screamed from the screen. Everyone rushed to me and some how woke me up. Once I woke up I started crying real hard. How could this be happening?
The funeral was several days later. Everyone was there, including the Jonas boys. I think we all left a part of our hearts there and moved on…all going our different directions.
Kevin, Joe, and Nick went back to their superstar lives, but the next few concerts weren’t as good as before. JoJo, Lauren and Kati got on a dancing tour, but fell out later. Sami and Danni went back to school; they fell under peer pressure though and started drugs. Josh did the same, but worse. He was in and out of the hospital. He had lost his best friend and didn’t know what to do.
Crossing the Line? We started home schooling together so we could pursue our dream. We had a record deal just like JB, but no one really bought our music. They had a lucky start I guess. We just couldn’t write anything better either after this disaster. But don’t worry, it gets better in time. It all starts at zero…
