Appearance: The only thing the pictures don’t show is that I’m 5’9”

Personality: I’m pretty laid back, but once I get excited about something I get really hyped up. I’m pretty restless. I guess I’m just passionate about life? I am very caring. I don’t want that to sound arrogant or anything, but I care deeply, sometimes more than I should, about everything. I care so much about my family, my friends, my schoolwork, gymnastics, my job, learning, traveling…everything! My grandma always tells me that I’m itchy because I’m always itching to be doing something. It doesn’t bother me that my disposition sometimes leaves me vulnerable to being hurt. It’s just the way I am. I also like music a lot a lot a lot. I spend way too much money on concerts (I spent quite a few paychecks on the Spice Girls- but it was totally worth it). I just love the energy at concerts. I love the electricity that a crowd of people enjoying themselves creates. I also travel a lot. I lived in France for three years and I go back every summer. I think you get the gist of me.

How much of a music junkie are you?: Not a complete junkie, but I’m on my way. My mom was an NBA cheerleader and danced to all those funky songs of the 70’s and my dad was an acoustic guitar playing jock who played Eric Clapton, so I get the best of both worlds. My grandma raised me listening to classical, Janis Joplin, and showtunes. I’m pretty well rounded. The only thing I really dislike is hardcore rap. It just bothers me. But there is a always a song stuck in my head.

Do you still listen to all those old boy bands?: um YEAH! I’m seeing the Backstreet Boys this August. In fact, I had to make my mom give me my NSYNC Celebrity CD back last week. I own The Reel NSYNC, the NSYNC PopOdyssey Tour Video, and I still have all of my tapes of the times NSYNC and BSB were on TRL. You really don’t want to get me started on how much I love them.

Will you do anything to win? I’ll do everything that won’t hurt anyone. If it isn’t fair to others or could hurt them in anyway, I’ll back down.

How far will you go to keep the one you love close?: When my ex moved to Czech Republic I visited him every chance I got. I’d stay up all night talking on the phone with him because of the time difference. I’d say I’d go pretty far.  

What's been the biggest struggle in your life?: Living in France. My dad thought he was getting a great job, but it turned out to be a let down. We weren’t financially stable, my brother was very ill at the time, and we could hardly speak French. It was a nightmare. We were isolated in a foreign country with very few resources. We kept hoping things would get better the next day, but they wouldn’t. We had no friends, no family, no nothing. Everything we knew was across the ocean. But we got out of that and recovered back here at home. It’s not that France was awful (I love France); our situation in France was awful.

Play any instrument?  sing?  write songs? I used to play clarinet and I still play piano.  I’m an okay singer.  I don’t write songs, but I do write poems.

Personality: I'm definitly a people person. I love having a good time. I always up for anything, and I will always try something once.  When I first meet someone I'm really quiet but it doesn't take much time at all for me to open up. I am a very stong person. I have been through a lot in my life and have become a better person because of it.  Every situation is a learning experience. My family means so much to me. Especially my two nephews and nieces. I love them so much and spend as much time as possible with me.  My friends can get me through absolulty everything. I am in a sorority, AOII, and my sorority sisters are the most amazing girls you will ever meet.  Music is my savior.  It's something that brings a smile to face and can always pull me out of a bad mood.

How much of a music junkie are you: OMG I can't even explain.  My dad is a huge music buff and he definitly passed it down to me.  I haven't met a music genre I don't like.  Music speaks what I can't say. It is able to capture every feeling anyone has ever had and that is absolutly amazing.  Music has an outstanding healing power that I am amazed by. I love everything from Nsync (oh i am so obsessed lol) to Johnny Cash to Sex Pistols to Meatloaf.  If it's music I will listen to it.  Without music, I wouldn't be here today.

Do you still listen to boy bands: Well obviously you don't know me haha. Nsync=life lol It's really hard to explain how much I'm obsesed with Nsync. My mom thinks I should have moved on haha but what can I say. They have my heart :) lol

Will you do anything to win? Yes, within reason.  Being fair is alway a priority, I don't play dirty. But I am a very determined person.

How far will you go to keep the one you love close? As far as need be.  I believe that if you love someone then no matter what happens you will be able to make things work. Distance doesn't ruin a relationship, lack of commitment does.

What's been the biggest stuggle in your life?  Dissappointment. In family, friends, and myself.  I've been through a lot and have been hurt by people I trusted dearly.  I have come to learn that not everyone is like that.  I can't become emotionally disconnected or distant from those I love just because of others mistakes.  I also struggled with bulimia for two years (healthy for a year now!) because I let what someone thought of me control my every action. Now I realize that only what I think matters and that's the way it should be.

Play an intrument? Sing? Write Songs?  I play the bass & violin and guitar.  I love to write songs.  I started out writing poetry, which is definitly one of my biggest passions in life.  Most of my poems can be tweaked into songs and I am able to get out feelings. It is an amazing experience. I like to sing. I was in chorus for 4 years...but I'm definitly not the best singer out there :) Just a hobby!
