Chapter 4
I sat at the end of the couch curled up in my large quilt my grandmother had made me when i was younger.
I heard talking in the other room, guessing Spencer was still talking to whoever I would be going on a date with.
Minutes later, she reappeared with a smile on her face.
"You have a date on Friday night at 6pm". She told me.
"Great". I said with a bit of sarcasm.
"How about we go shopping, get you a nice outfit to wear on your date. My treat". She said patting my knee.
"Well.... If your paying, I see no reason to not go". I smiled.
"Ya ya... I thought that would get you to go". She laughed.
The rest of the day was filled with tons of shopping, followed by a nice dinner.
After an exausting day at the mall, Spencer and I thought it would be best to head home and get some rest.
I sat at the end of the couch yet again, and wrapped my quilt around myself.
I grabbed the remote to the tv and turned it on.
"Oooo Ella Enchanted is on". I said outloud.
