Chapter One
“And this my sister is Nick Jonas…” My younger sister Kat swooned. “He’s incredible gorgeous.”
I studied the picture of a young boy with brown curly locks that fell over his eyes.
“I want to know who this is.” I pointed at a boy with straight brown hair and light brown eyes.
“oh that’s Joe. That the cute funny one.” She made air quotes in the air with her slender fingers.
“He’s cute.” I smiled
“That’s Kevin, he’s the oldest.”
I looked at my sister surprised, she could have told me their home address if I asked. It made me nervous for her.
“This isn’t healthy” I bit my lip
“What?” she closed her magazine.
“This, Obsession you have.”
“It’s a disorder.” She clarified
“Oh, does that make it better?” I pushed back my brown hair.
“Yes. It’s called OJD.” She said proudly lifting her nose in the air.
“OJD…” I lifted an eyebrow
“Obsessive Jonas Disorder.”
I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out.
“Crystal maybe one day you’ll understand.” She smiled softly.
I stood up from her bed and looked around her room. It had pictures of these three boys covering every inch. The curly head covered her whole north wall.
I sighed and walked towards the wall “This is scary, can you imagine what he would say if he walked in here right now?”
“nothing cuz I’d jump him.” She grew excited.
“I give up.” I shook my head.
“It’s not my fault. ITS THEM!” she pointed at the brothers
“Brainwashed you?”
“Exactly, their angelic voices and perfect instrument playing caused this.” She turned to a poster and wagged her finger at it “Bad boys, you should know brainwashing the youth of America is unhealthy”
I sighed again, “Sweetie I’ll be in my room.” I said walking away
“You can not tell me you don’t think they’re cute!” she grabbed my arm
“Yes, Kat, they are incredible handsome, but another second of being in your suffocating room is going to kill me.” I pulled away slowly.
She followed behind me.
“Did you know that Nick is 15, He’s perfect for me.” She sighed walking down the hallway with me.
“No kidding?” I acted like it was the first time I heard that.
“It’s true and Joe’s 18” She nudged my arm
Once inside my room I felt safe. Away from the hundreds of eyes staring straight at me.
“Do you like 80’s music?” I asked looking through my collection of music.
“Yes! The Jonas brothers sing Take on Me!” she lit up
Oh my word, if I heard that name again…
“Take On Me is by A-Ha.” I corrected her
“Jonas brothers made it better.” She snorted
I rolled my eyes at her.
“Sweetie can I please introduce you to real music?”
“Sweetie can I please introduce you to good music?” she fired back.
I was hopeless.
