Hey guys! I hope you don't think this sucks!
Hopefully it's okay.
Love you all!
Prologue
Ashley closed her laptop with a smile as she submitted the latest blog posts to her hit website, TotallyBlogged.com. With three million unique hits a day, and thousands of comments per post, she must be doing something right; but the oddity of her internet fame still took some getting used to.
She’d started the website out of boredom, talking about celebrities she liked and disliked, even spreading the word about local bands and such that she liked. In her small town word spread quickly of the site, and soon people would be passing her in the hallways and shouting out things they’d like to see.
Seven months later, fresh out of high school, her fame took off and she started getting invitations to tons of events and emails from all sorts of people. Using her graduation money, she moved to Los Angeles and found an apartment with two girls looking for a roommate. It worked out fine, and the three had become almost inseparable; Ashley often dragging the two to celebrity events with her.
As she brushed her curly hair out of her face, she wondered when and if this would all come crashing down on her. When would her words be used against her? When would she be the subject of her own blog?
She hoped that day never came.
Subject: Simply Girly
Simply Girly has a new single out! It’s called “Bring on the Summer.” I like the poppy sound and the crazy lyrics. Brittany, Becky and Sarah are going to be busy on their summer tour this year. Rumor has it that it’s selling out like crazy overseas and doing well here.
I think I’ll pass on it though. I’d much rather see Brittany and Becks in another movie.
What do you think?
Subject: Joe Jonas
Seriously, what does this boy think when he puts on clothes? His stylist must be blind. He was wearing fluorescent yellow pants at the Rock For The Future event in Los Angeles yesterday. His other two brothers looked decent, but whatever.
The Jonas Brothers are just going to end up fading away in a few years. I know you all hate my “bashing” of the Jonas Brothers, but I just don’t understand the hoopla that surrounds them. To me they’re nothing more than the same watered down pop that’s been shoved down our throats for years but in better clothes. (Most of the time.)
Joe, get a new stylist. Preferably one who can see.
