chapter 3

from that day on, Nick and i were inseparable, about 2 months after were started hanging out, he asked me to be his girlfriend! i was totally stoked. and we were like all out in the open, and all those popular kids i complained about? are actually pretty chill. i started going to class on a daily basis, getting my grades up, and I've been clean since that day at Nick's house 2 months ago.
Joe Kevin Frankie, and even Mr. and Mrs. Jonas were all very welcoming, took care of me as if i were just another family member. ever so often, i would see Twister and Steve out in front of the deli, they'd nod, and i'd smile, but that was all.
its the 4th of July weekend, and the Jonas family is having a huge! bbq. friends family, neighbors, everyone. my grandma and i showed up, and she even baked her famous double fudge brownies. She took a seat next to some other old neighbors and i went to say hey to Nick and everyone. i stood in the middle of the yard searching for him, when someone came up behind me and squeezed my hips, i jumped and turned around only to get an unexpected kiss. " excuse sir, but i have a boyfriend that im trying to find." i said still close to their face. " oh can i guess... he's got killer hair, adorable eyes, and a gorgeous girlfriend?" " yeah i think that you may just be him." i said kissing him again. he let go of me and took my hand. " lets go say hi to everyone?" " kay cool." i said and took his hand. All of our friends were there. thats right i said OUR haha. everyone was really cool and really accepting, not caring about how i used to be. they took me, with my flaws and everything. i took a seat in between joe and nick. "hey, lets go in the pool!" Kerry called out. everyone agreed. i sat as everyone got up, and i saw julie walk over to nick and ask him something. " yeah sure, i'll show you." is what i heard him say. " i'll be rigt bck he said towards joe and i. "oh crap." i said. " what?" joe asked. " i have a big problem." "whats your big problem?" " i forgot my bathing suit at home." i said getting up. " oh thats not a big problem" joe said. " a big problem would be... welll... if your butt fell off." he finished. i shook my head and laughed. " that would be a major problem Joe Jonas, tell nick i'll be right back." i said as i walked out the gate.
as i walked up the driveway and passed the front window, i saw something a little fishy. Nick playing the his guitar and singing to julie. i looked at the window for a little bit longer then saw something i didnt want to see. "what the !@#&%#!!!" i said out loud. then sprinted home, face covered with tears.
