I hope you like it :)  I did the best I could.

I was totally stoked when my mom and dad told me I got my own car for my 17^th birthday. Sure it wasn’t anything fancy like you see on tv, but it was mine, and I couldn’t be happier. I had my car for nearly a month now and I was driving my best friend, Hannah around.
“Heeey Malou, you wanna head to the mall?” Hannah asked while turning up the radio.
“Sure why not. It’s the mall.” I said laughing as I jammed to the music with her. It was so great having my own car, what could possibly be better or go wrong, so I thought.

It was just another boring day with nothing to do. That’s when I begged Kevin to drive me somewhere, anywhere.
“Kevin, please? I’m bored out of my mind.” I pleaded with him.
“Fine. Just to get you to shut up! Where do you want to go?” He asked while grabbing his keys.
“The mall?” I shrugged. He nodded fine as we got into the car.

Everything was going perfectly. We were only about 5 minutes from the mall when suddenly out of nowhere this guy ran a red light and hit us ‘t-bone style’. All I remember was screeching tires, screams, the look on Hannah‘s face, and me closing my eyes. I didn’t remember much after that.

Kevin was only about 2 minutes from the mall when traffic came to a near halt. I decided to hop out of the car to see what was going on. I noticed a small white car crumpled up in the middle of the road. A huge pick up truck nearby with a smashed front. One girl got out of the car holding her head, blood dripping down her arm. I ran over to see if everything was fine.
“Oh my God, are you ok?” I asked the mystery girl as she started walking around, breathing heavily.
“I’m fine. Pl- please help my friend. She’s still in the car.” She screamed, tears running down her face. I looked to the drivers side of the car to see a girl laying there, not moving. I ran over with the one girl trying to help her out, but the door was jammed. The window was smashed into millions of pieces so we finally started pulling her out through there. There were people around us just staring and all I could think of was getting this girl out and to help. We laid her on the ground, her brown hair was all in shambles and her makeup was a mess. By this time Kevin ran over and started helping. He called 911 just to make sure someone was on their way, and they were. Not 10 minutes later an ambulance was there and rushed the girl away. I stayed with the other girl, even though I had no clue who she was, just to see if everything was alright. She had a minor cut on her arm, nothing serious.
“Thank you for helping.” She said smiling, breathing normal this time.
“No problem. Are you sure you’re ok?” I asked her. She nodded yes. “I’m Nick by the way.”
“Hannah.” She said shaking my hand. “Sorry I have to go see how Malou is. I’m scared.” She said standing up off the stretcher she was sitting on.
“I’ll come with. You know for moral support.” I said giving Hannah a weak smile. She smiled back and Kevin was kind enough to drive us there.
After getting there we waited a good 40 minutes until a doctor came out. He told us that she wasn’t going to make it unless someone with the exact blood type as her gave blood. He immediately ran tests on Hannah, nothing. Even though I didn’t know her, I knew it was better to try then to sit around. He ran a quick test on me, and found that I was a complete and perfect match. He informed me of the risks and I didn’t care. I wanted to help save a life, it was important. He took blood near immediately and ran it to Malou. We waited another 20 minutes to see if it worked.
“You may go and see her now. She’s fine, but extremely weak, so be gentle.” He said with a smile and showed us to her room. It was weird going and meeting this girl I never officially met, in a hospital room.
“MALOU!” Hannah screamed through tears. The girl opened her eyes to smile at her best friend. And give me a weird look. I just smiled at her and walked over to her. “Malou. This is Nick. He saved your life.” Hannah said pulling me towards the girl. She looked away from me a few times, but all I could do was smile, she had beautiful brown eyes.
“Really?” She asked near silently. You could tell just by her voice she was weak. IV after IV was running from a machine to her. Some with medicine, some with blood.
“Yeah, I guess.” I said looking away towards the machines. “I gave you that blood.” I said pointing to the two bags of blood hanging from above.
“Wow. I don’t know what to say.” She said weakly.

Here I was, sitting in a hospital room, with my best friend crying, and a mysterious boy. Well he was sort of mysterious. All I knew was that he had pretty much saved my life, well, according to Hannah he did. "So you gave me the blood, which saved my life?" I finally said after some silence.
"Yup. That'd be me." He said with a little laugh.
"Why? You don't even know me." I said. I might have sounded a little harsh since the smile that was on his face, quickly disappeared.
"Because you were in trouble and I wanted to help. You don't need to know someone to help them. I've learned that from my parents." He said smiling again. Even though I didn't know him, seeing him smile made me feel better, and make me smile.
"Well that's very sweet of you. I don't know how I could ever repay you." I said staring at him, then glancing at Hannah who had a huge smile on her face. She could tell I liked this boy, even if I did only meet him.
"Well, don't get hurt again, alright?" He said laughing and grabbing my hand. His hand was warm and sweaty, yet I didn't mind. I just held onto it. 
"Alright, I'll try." I finally said, while laughing. It hurt to laugh, but I didn't care at this point and time.
"Well I better get going. My parents are probably wondering where I am." He said with an odd amount of disappointment in his eyes, as he started walking out.
"Will I ever see you again?" I yelled as he was nearly out the door. 
"I hope so. maybe I can save you again." He said with a wink as he walked out the door. All I could do at this point was smile.

I left Hannah and Malou to their girl talk. I was happy she wanted to see me again. It was odd, even though I never knew her, I never met her until today, I was willing to risk my life for hers. It was weird, but I was extremely happy I did it. To use your own life to save anothers, it's fine in my book. As I was leaving I noticed a nurse about to walk into her room.
"Excuse me." I asked politely. "Could you give Malou this?" I asked handing her a piece of paper. The nurse quickly glanced at it, smiled, and walked in. I hope she accepted.

A nurse came in just shortly after the Nick boy left. "Excuse me miss. A boy asked me to give you this." She said handing me a note. She quickly checked every IV that was attached to me, wrote stuff down, then left the room.
"What does it say?" Hannah said giddly. 
"Hope you feel better soon. When you get out, wanna hang?" I started. I looked down at the paper some more to find a phone number. "Call me." I said with a smile that wouldn't go away.
"Oooh. Malou's got a boyfriend. Malou's got a boyfriend!" Hannah said annoyingly. I just gave her a look and kept that paper by my side the entire time I was there. That boy there, gave me the freedom and will power to live. Even if I only knew him for a second.
