Celebrity Detox
Chapter 1
Kevin’s POV
“Thank you! See you guys soon!” I said into the microphone at the end of our show. Nick, Joe and I waved one last time to the crowd and we went backstage.
“Great job boys!” Our mother cried, coming to give us a hug. Our father agreed, giving me a pat on the arm.
“Yeah, but we still could of played Year 3000 a little better.” Joe murmured under his breath. I looked at him and turned my attention away as Frankie came to see us.
“So, how was that Tank?” Nick asked him, putting away his guitar on a stand next to all the other guitars we used.
“Great!” Frankie cheered happily. Nick and I smiled at him, Joe didn’t seem really interested. I gave Frankie a small pat on the back.
“Come on Franklin, we’ll leave them some space. See you boys later in the bus.” Dad said. He, mom and Frankie all left.
“I think we did a good job.” I agreed, putting my guitar down on a stand near where Nick placed his.
“Yeah, right.” Joe snickered, giving his microphone to one of the stage managers.
“Sorry?” Nick asked him.
“I think we did… ok.” He said. “At least I know I did.” He said under his breath. Nick and I exchanged looks.
Joe’s POV
I walked into my dressing room and took some painkillers, I had the biggest headache, or at least that was my excuse. They helped me relax after I play a show. I really needed them, and sometimes I would sneak out and smoke a cigarette or smoked some weed and stuff. That night I was actually planning on going to a bar and club, of course undercover so my family wouldn’t find out what I’ve been up to when I leave.
I walked out of my dressing room, grabbing my sunglasses and my thick, black coat - which help hide the smell of smoke - before heading outside and to the back of the building. I looked around, no one was around. I dipped my hand into my pocket and took out some weed, wrapped up in some paper, and I took out a lighter. I took a puff and smiled to myself. Now I was relaxed. I finished it off and adjusted my sunglasses, making sure that no one would see my red eyes. I took out a small bottle of body spray, spraying it all over to cover the smell and I headed back to the tour bus. All I wanted to do was go to sleep until the morning.
