This is for Ashley. You said you always wanted a puppy. I'm makin' multiple wishes come true here, girl!

    The big brown eyes were just too much for any of them to refuse. Those eyes would lead to trouble every time.
    The trouble was….no one could figure out if it was the dog or Nick that was worse in that respect. Both pairs of eyes were looking at the group pleadingly. They didn’t even have to speak to beg. Everyone was starting to lose his or her resolve. It was SO hard to say no.
    In Nick’s eyes (the very cute brown ones), it had been the perfect gift. His girlfriend had wanted a puppy forever. He saw the little yellow lab puppy in the window of the pet shop while walking down the street, and the little thing had just been too perfect. Nick, being the genius that he was, bought the puppy on the spot and planned to give it to her as an Easter gift. Unfortunately, Ashley was constantly in and out of his apartment, which meant trying to hide it would be risky business. Easter was the following Sunday, so he only needed somewhere for the puppy to stay for four days.
    And eventually, it was Mrs. Jonas caved. The puppy was just too adorable. Besides, Frankie was the only child the couple still had in the house, so they did have spare room. The puppy, which Nick planned to let Ashley name, would stay with Mr. and Mrs. Jonas.
    For days, the puppy caused chaos, dragging out rolls of toilet paper, eating flowers, and letting everyone fully know that he still needed to be house trained.
    As Nick came by on Saturday night to pick the little animal up, he still hadn’t told any of his family how Ashley would be receiving the puppy. He was quite proud of his plan. It was quite cute, and he couldn’t believe he had thought it up himself.
    On Sunday morning after the Easter service, Nick dragged Ashley into the living room of his apartment. She had no idea what was happening.
    “Nick, what’s going on?” she asked curiously and suspiciously.
    “You’ll see in a minute, baby.”
    He had a blindfold tied over her eyes, so he had to sit her down on the couch so she wouldn’t hurt herself.  When he made sure she wasn’t peeking (she had tried multiple times), he went to go grab the puppy from the laundry room. As he approached her, the dog let out a small yip.
    “Nick Jonas, you play such mean jokes!” she exclaimed. It was a well-known fact that Ashley had always wanted a puppy. Her entire life, she had had cats and lots of them. Last Christmas, Joe had played a joke on Ashley but putting in one of those prank devices that you put inside a box that would make a meowing or barking sound, to make the receiver think there was a small animal inside. Needless to say, Ashley had been very disappointed to see the small device hidden inside a pair of fluffy socks. Joe said the socks were furry enough to be an animal, when asked about the prank.
    However, instead of responding to Ashley’s remark, he set the puppy down on the coffee table. The puppy sniffed her leg. He softly licked her hand. Ashley giggled and then realized what it was. She tore the blindfold off and squealed. There sitting in front of her was a little yellow Labrador puppy wearing a pair of bunny ears.
    “It’s a present from the Easter bunny.”
    “NICHOLAS JONAS! You did not. Is he mine? Really?” she squealed again.
    He had to smile at her exhilaration. She was so excited. She was currently snuggling the little yellow lab against her shoulder. It was when something knocked her shoulder that she realized there was another gift that came with the little creature.
    Nick took off a little box that was attached to the puppy’s collar. He got down on one knee. Ashley almost dropped the puppy in surprise. However, she managed to catch him before he fell, and she set him down on the couch. Nick bent down on one knee.
    “Ashley, I love you. So much. I’ve wanted to do this for a long time. I think I saw myself asking you this the minute I saw you. It’s been you and me. I want to be your husband. I want this puppy to be the start of our family. So Ashley, will you marry me?” She was still gaping at him. Tears were starting to leak through her eyes. The puppy barked and looked up at here with his big puppy eyes. “I think he’s asking you to say yes.” Nick was shaking. He NEEDED her to say yes.
    “Nick?” she asked tentatively.
    ‘Yes?” he said, almost impatiently. He wanted her to say yes, but more importantly he wanted an answer period.
    “Can we make sure there’s a big back yard for the dogs and kids?”
    He smiled, placing the ring on her finger.
    “We can have anything you want, Baby.”
    She could never say no to those big brown eyes.

That was too adorable for words. Puppies + Nick Jonas = LOVE LOVE LOVE. The two things alone are cute enough, put them together, it's a lethal combination. <33333

ok so i'm not even Ashley but i will admit that i teared up at the end and a tear or two might have escaped. just ugh that was amazing Ren. i absolutely loved it and it had nothing to do with me. of course though it did have something to do with one of my friends, plus a puppy and Nick Jonas....so that's a good combination too. =]
