It's been a really long time since I've written a fan fiction. Like Lemonade was the only one I finished and Rock for a Lolita died out.
I'm here with another idea. I'll try to complete it this time around.
Plot: Casey Parker could care less about the big and popular Jonas Brothers. In fact, she thinks they're just another sell-out boy band. Joe can't seem to make up his mind about where he stands with love. When these two collide head-on, weird things start to happen. Joe is smitten but Casey could care less. What's to do when one guy can't leave you alone?
Chapter 1: What a Joke
“Eeeeeekkkk!” screeched Josie as she turned her head away as a needle plunged into her friend’s cartilage. Her friend just rolled her eyes at her shrinking sidekick trembling in the chair next to her. The piercer blinked as he cleaned up the girl’s bleeding cartilage.
“Is she going to be okay?” asked the piercer as he watched Josie quiver in her seat, “It looks like she’s going to have a heart attack any second now.” The girl who was just getting her cartilage pierced, named Casey, nodded in response.
“Yeah don’t worry about her,” sighed Casey as she watched Josie, “Watching this freaks her out. I mean, I’m getting a needle stabbed into my ear. How many people watch that happen for a change?” The piercer shrugged and placed the mini hoop into place. “Hey Josie,” began Casey as she slid off her chair, “Chill girl. It’s over.” Josie uncovered her eyes and relaxed to see Casey standing before her with a ring in her cartilage.

“You know, it’s not that freaky to watch,” sighed Casey as they walked out of the piercing shop, “You got your ears pierced just last month.” Josie winced and wrung her hands anxiously.
“Can I help it if the sight scares me?” blurted out Josie as she tossed her hands up in the air, “Come on already! I just freak out for weird reasons.” As the two girls walked down the street, Josie spotted a sign in the window of a trendy boutique, saying there was a sale that day. “Come on!” cried out Josie as she dragged Casey into the store with her, “A sale means good things.” Casey groaned as this was the kind of shop she tended to avoid. It was loaded with fashion forward trends and glitzy Hollywood styles, something she loathed greatly.
Josie made a mad dash for the shoes and Casey trailed behind her. Josie skimmed the shelves for her size and selected a leopard-print flat. “What do you think of these?” she asked Casey as held them up.
Casey wrinkled her nose before answering, “As long as a real leopard wasn’t killed in the process, they’re fine.” Josie confirmed that the shoes were made of suede and velvet as she slipped them on. As she admired herself in the mirror, the hidden speakers in the store began playing S.O.S. “Ooohh, this is an S.O.S. Don’t wanna second guess. This is the bottom line, it’s true. I gave my all for you, now my heart’s in two…” crooned the voice of Joe Jonas. Casey gagged as soon as she heard those lyrics.
“This is such a cliché song,” she grumbled as Josie started dancing to it. Why did such a lame song exist? Obviously this was another sell-out boy band just like the Backstreet Boys and N’Sync. It was really stupid to see how far some girls would go for a bunch of posers that were cute.
Josie stopped dancing and turned to face Casey. “I had no idea that you didn’t like the Jonas Brothers.” Her expression became one of disappointment and amazement.
“They are sell-outs!” shot back Casey, “It’s just another Backstreet Boys or N’Sync clone. Honestly, the whole music industry has gone whack! Hilary Duff is a sell-out, Lindsay Lohan is a poser-need I say more?” Josie busied herself with the shoes and put them back in the box.
“Uh yeah,” she tried to agree, “They are I guess. How lame. They only look cute because that’s what it’s all about these days. Looks.” She stood up and walked over to the counter. “I’m gonna buy these,” she said mostly to herself, “I need a cool pair of flats so yeah.”
“I’m going outside okay?” Casey muttered as she moved toward the door, “This song is giving me a headache.” She stumbled out the doorway and walked a few steps away from the storefront. The nearby beach breezes blew across her face gently and swept her hair up in the waves of wind. “Honestly, those guys are such losers,” muttered Casey as she walked down the sidewalk. She hadn’t been looking where she was going and had collided with a guy as she was saying her negative comment.
“Hey,” said a voice, “Who did you just say were losers?”
