Ch. One

“Mom, I’m going shopping with Kay. I’ll be back later” Giuliana said and walked out of her New York City apartment on the Upper East Side. Her dad was the President of Music Craze Records. ‘Morning Giuli” the door man Herbert said. “Morning Herb” she said as she walked down the marble steps. A white stretch limo awaited. The chauffer got out and helped her into the limo. “Hey girl!” said her best friend, Kayla. “Hey! I have some big news!” Giuliana  said with excitement. “What is it?” Kay said with her eyes opened. Giuliana leaned in and in a lower voice said “Daddy had an open spot for someone to do a collaboration, and I’m going to record with the Jonas Brothers!” “AHHH!!!” they both screamed with their arms flailing about. The limo stopped. They were in Times Square. “Lets go to Alidon” Kayla said holding the strap to her Michael Golin bag. They walked into the store. “Do you think these are cute?” Giuliana said holding a pair of a red, peep-toe, stilettos.  After the finished shopping, they decided to eat lunch at the restaurant in Central Park. Throw it away, forget yesterday*  “Hey Mom” Giluliana said while flipping open her SideKick. “Hey Giul, you need to come home. Daddy and I are going to dinner, and you have to watch Hali” she said sounding in a rush. “Fine mom” Giuli said rolling her eyes. Then, she flipped her phone shut. “Ya, I have my photo shoot with that new magazine” Kayla said slightly shaking her head. Giuli called her chaiffer and the limo arrived. “To the house”Giuli said in a demanding tone. She was not looking forward to babysitting. She had only done it once before. Giuliana got out and slammed the door. She stomped up the marble stairs. She walked over to the elevator. “Herbert!” she shouted miffled. He ran over and pressed the up button. “Took you long enough” she muttered under his breath as he walked away. The golden doors to the elevator opened. Three guys walked out, one drinking a water bottle with no water ran into Giuliana. “Watch it kid!” Giuliana said not looking to see who they were. “Sorry, I didn’t see you there” the boy said with a little smile. ‘Whatever” Giuliana said rolling her eyes. She stepped in the elevator. She looked at herself in the elevator mirror fixing her hair. When the elevator reached the top floor, she stepped out into the hallway. She walked to her family’s apartment. “Mom, these three boys spilled water all over my new shirt!” she said angrily as she burst open the door. She did not realize that three other people were there. Two were adults, and one appeared to be around the age of seven. “Sweetie, just go give it to Denny and she’ll put it in the dryer” her mom said, after being interrupted in the middle of her conversation with the two adults. “UHHH!!!” Giuliana groaned and stomped over to her room. She put on jeans and a shirt that her dad’s record company on it.
