~Emilys POV~

Frankie and I sat in the dressing room for the rest of sound check because I didn't want to sit there with Joe singing and watching me the entire time.I was watching Frankie play his PSP when the guys walked in.

Kevin sat down beside me and Joe leaned against the door,I didn't want to look at him because I know he would be looking back and I didn't want my eyes to give away my feelings for him.

Kevin nudged me bringing me out of my trance state.

"Yeah?"I asked looking at him.

"Well I was asking you how we were."Kevin said raising his eyebrow a little as he glanced at Joe and then back at me.

"You guys were great from what I heard."I said with a little smile.

"You only heard one song and then part of the second."Joe said and I couldn't help but look at him.

"Well Frankie got thirsty."I said biting my lip because I knew that was a lie"And well I had to find him something to drink."

"Nuh Uh."Frankie said as he got up and walked over to Joe"She asked me if I want to go and get something to drink with her."

"Really."Joe said looking back at me"Em why did you just lie about that."

"I think maybe Em just got confused about who asked who."Kevin said.

Joe nodded gently.

I sighed in relief I would have to thank Kevin later for saving me.

"So we go on in an hour and I called mom."Joe said"She's going to come pick Frankie up and take him back to the hotel so that you can stay for the concert."

"Sounds good to me."I said with a little smile.

"Aww but I wanted to stay with Emily."Frankie said pouting his lip out as he walked over and jumped into my lap.

"But I'll call you every ten minutes and let you know what's going on."I said ruffling his hair a little and smiling.

He sighed a little and then nodded.

"Alright but you can't forget to call me."Frankie said.

"I promise that I won't."I said as I looked up at Joe who was smiling,I felt the butterflies in my stomach as I smiled back at him.

~Joe's POV~

After we got done with sound check we started to head back towards our dressing room.

"Why would she just walk away like that."I asked Kevin and Nick as we walked down the hall towards our dressing room.

"Dude chill I'm sure she had a good reason too."Nick said shaking his head.

"Yeah I mean she did have Frankie with her maybe he had to go to the bathroom or something."Kevin said shrugging a little as we got to the room.

We walked into the room.

Emily was sitting on the couch watching Frankie as he played a game on his PSP that we had bought him for Christmas.Kevin walked over and sat down next to her on the couch,I stayed right where I was leaning against the door.

"So Em how were we?"Kevin asked,she looked like she was staring off into space but she hadn't even looked up from her hands since we came in.

Kevin nudged her a little and she seemed to shake out of her trance.

"Yeah?"She asked looking at him.

"Well I was asking you how we were."Kevin said raising his eyebrow a little as he glanced at me and then back at her.

"You guys were great from what I heard."She said with a little smile.

"Aww but I wanted to stay with Emily."Frankie said pouting his lip out as he walked over to her and jumped into her lap.

"I promise that I won't."She said as she looked up at me,I was smiling,She smiled back at me and I could feel the butterflies in my stomach.

~Emily's POV~

Once the show started I stood at the same spot I had during sound check,I called Frankie every ten minutes like I promised.I was on the phone when I heard Joe start to say something about a girl who was special to them.

"So there's a girl that we met about two months ago."Joe said as he looked out at the crowd"And well we want to bring her out here on stage so Em why don't you come on out."

He looked towards me,I shook my head and mouthed no to him.He walked towards me and put the mike down.

"Come on Em please."He said pouting his lip out.

"Joe I'm talking to Frankie."I said as I looked at him and bit my lip,he just looked so cute like that.

"He can listen."Joe said.

"Joe please I really don't want to go out there."I said.

"Well to bad your coming whether you like it or not."He said picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder before he walked back out on stage all of their fans laughing as he did.

"JOE PUT ME DOWN."I yelled tried to get loose.

"Your wish is my command."He said setting me down on a stool that they had put in the middle of the stage.

"What's going on?"Frankie asked.

"Well your brother just carried me out on stage and sat me down on a stool."I said and he giggled.

"Alright this songs for you Em."Joe said as he smiled at me as he picked the Mike back up and the guys started to play.

I bit my lip as I watched Joe walk aroun dme before he stopped and started to sing.

"They come and go but they don't

know that you are my beautiful

I try to come closer with you

but they all say we won't make it through."Joe sang and I could feel the butterflies once again as he looked at me and smiled.

"But I'll be there forever you will see

that it's better all our hopes and our

dreams will come true."Nick started to sing along with him"I will not dissapoint you I will be right there for you till the end the end of time."

"Please be mine."Joe sang Nicks part as he looked at me and pointed to himself.

I smiled and glanced at Kevin who was looking at me and smiling.

"Ooo Joe loves Emily."Frankie said on the other end of the phone and my smile grew wider.

After they had gotten done singing everyone clapped and I gently walked off the stage looking back at Joe one more time and smiling.I headed back towards the dressing room to think about what had just happened,I mean Joe couldn't feel the same way I felt about him could he?

~Joe's POV~

"Thank you New York."I said into the mic before we ran off stage and headed towards our dressing room.

As we walked in Emily looked up and smiled at us.

"Guys I can't believe you did that for me."She said as she got up and walked over to is giving us each a hug.

But it was my idea I was trying to tell you how I feel.

"It was no problem."Nick said with a smile as he plopped down on the couch Emily sat down next to him and then Nick say down beside her.

I sighed and walked over to them before I sat down in Emily's lap.

"Joe."Emily said as she looked at me.

"What I didn't have anywhere else to sit."I said with a little smile as I looked down at her.I thought I saw her blushing.

"So what's next?"She asked as she looked at Nick and then at Kevin.

"Well I guess we could go back to the hotel."Kevin said with a shrug I mean there isn't really anything else that we can do.

"We could go play hide and seek."I said causing Emily to giggle a little as she looked up at me.

"Last time I played that with you guys you jumped out of a tree and landed on top of me."She said gently.

I laughed a little and shook my head I remember that day,it took everything I had not to kiss her when she was laying there on the fround trying to catch her breathe.

"I promise I won't do it again."I said as I looked down at her.

"Alright well not it."She said quickly.

"Not it."I said about the same time Nick did.

"Well then Kevin your it."Emily said with a little smile as she pushed me off her lap and headed towards the door.Kevin started to count and we all ran down the hall.

Nick found him a place to hide but Em and I were still trying to find as Kevin counted down.

"Eighteen,nineteen,twenty."Kevin said"Ready or not here I come."

About that time Emily and I were running down the hall so I grabbed her hand and pulled her into the nearest closet.

Emily covered her mouth as she giggled.

"Shhh."I whispered gently as I looked at her,it was dark but I could make out her figure in the dark"He's going to find us."

"I can't help it."She whispered as she continued to giggle"I haven't had this much fun in so long."

I smiled a little as I pulled her to me and put my hand over her mouth to keep her from giggling anymore as soon as I did she stopped even though it was dark I could feel her eyes on me.

I looked down at her and removed my hand from her mouth to her cheek as I ran my thumb along her face a little,I leaned in and was about to kiss her when the door opened.

I jumped back and looked at the door Kevin was standing there.

"Found you."He said with a little smile.

"You sure did."Emily said with a smile as she looked at me and then headed out of the door.I walked out behind her with a frown on my face.

"Sorry about that."Kevin said patting me on the back as we walked down the hall and back towards the dressing room.
