Gotta Catch My Breath

Chap. 1

"Hey, which-" I started to as my best friend.
The '007' came out of nowhere, cutting me off. Nick reached in his back pocket and smiled at his iPhone. I rolled my eyes and plopped on the couch.
"Hey Jamie" his smile grew bigger. "No...yeah...ok, see you tonight...bye babe"
"We're supposed to go to the movies tonight, Nick" I reminded him.
"Oh, right, I'm sorry, really. I completley forgot, how 'bout we watch a movie now?" he suggested.
"Ok" I nodded with a small smile.
"Cool, which one?"
"Juno" I said and took it out.
He nodded and I put it in the DVD player. I sat back next to him on the couch and pressed 'play' on the remote. At the end of the movie Nick got up.
"I have to go, bye Julia" he walked out and I sighed.
"Bye Nick" I said softly.
Ever sice Jamie came into the picture, Nick and I had been growing apart. It wasn't that Jamie was bad or anything, or even that she meant to do it, it hurt though. I couldn't help but be jealous, I had known Nick my whole life. Now she comes in and steals him? Also, I'd had a crush on Nick for longer than I could remember. The doorbell rang and tore me from my thoughts.
"Could someone get that?!" Mom screamed.
I opened the door to reveal Natalie, who was Joe's girlfriend. She was also one of my friends, even if she was three years older.
"Hey Nat" I said.
"Hey, Joe just invited me to the premire of Jonas next month, are you going?" she asked coming in.
"I'm not sure, I mean, I'm sure Nick's taking Jamie" I shrugged.
"Probably, but he'll probably still invite you"
"Maybe"
We hung out for awhile and I went up to my room. I took a deep breath and opened my song book, I was a singer, somewhat famous. Definitly not like Jonas famous, but famous enough, I guess. I started writing and then my sister, Daniella, came in the room.
"Dinner" she said.
"Thanks" I said and got up.
"No prob, you ok, Julia?" she asked.
"I'm fine" I nodded with an extra-forced smile.
"Fine, don't tell me"
I rolled my eyes and walked down the stairs to where everyone was sitting at the table. To my surprise, the Jonas' were there too. Except Nick, of course.
"Hey!" Joe said exitedly.
"Hey Joe" I laughed and sat between him and Frankie.

hope you like it, future chaps. will be longer. This is just somewhat of an intro. COMMENT PLZ!

Poor Julia =( even though I'm sure Nick and Jamie don't mean to do that to her.

THNX! I'm SO hyper right now 'cause I've listened to 'Burnin' Up' 30 times in a row, literally. So, here you go:

Chap. 2

Dinner was filled with lots of laughs and talking, our familes had been close for a super long time. Afterwords Frankie and my little sister, Hannah, went to watch 'Phineas and Ferb'. Kevin, Joe, and I went up to my room.
"So, Nick's coming over with Jamie later" Kevin informed me.
"Awesome" I fake laughed and forced a smile.
"We've known you long enough to know that's about as fake as Miley's voice" Joe shot me a look.
"Hey, I actually sort-of liked Miley" Kevin argued with Joe.
"She broke our little brother's heart, Kev"
"That is true" I nodded.
Kevin rolled his eyes at us. I heard the front door open and a girl's voice. Wait, that was Ashlynn, Kevin's girlfriend.
"Oh, Ashlynn might be coming over too" Kevin smiled.
"Man, I need to invite Nattiepoo" Joe said pulling out his phone.
"Of course" I sighed.
Then I got an idea, my neighbor was kinda cute, and he liked me.
"Dance party?" I asked with a smile.
Ashlynn came in as I asked.
"Yeah!" she exclaimed.
Kevin hugged her and gave her a quick kiss.
"Hey Ashlynn" I smiled.
Joe was on the phone, but he waved. I took out my phone and called Gabe.
"Hello?" he asked.
"Hey, it's Julia Rose" I replied.
"Oh, hey!"
"Me and some friends are hanging out. Wanna come over?" I asked.
"Sure, now?"
"Yep, bye Gabe"
"Bye Julia" he replied.
I closed my phone and smiled to myself. Nick and Jamie came in and I waved.
"Ok, Joe, pick out some music, hey Nick, Jamie" I said.
"Hey Julia" Jamie waved.
She said hey to everyone else and Gabe came over. He was the exact opposite of Nick. He had 'Jason Dolley' hair and gorgeous blue eyes. And he was as punk as they came.
"Gabe!" I smiled and hugged him.
"Hey Man" Nick nodded his way.
"Hola, where's Nat?" Joe sighed.
"Right here, babe" Natalie said from behind him.
Joe screamed and turned around.
"Don't do that!" he exclaimed.
