Hey, okay. This is my new fic. Hopefuly I won't drop this or forget about it somehow. Well, I had a sudden urge to write this thought down. It became into a story .I'm not exactly sure where this will be going. So umm here is the first chapter. There's nothing much to it. But please tell me what you think and if I should continue. BTW, don't ask where I got the title from. It was a song I was listening to and I had no title ideas.
Thanks!

Chapter 1
It was a crisp winter morning. The fresh snow had just fallen a couple hours ago from the snowstorm and it was undisturbed as it was only 5 in the morning and still dark. The winter days were Melanie’s favorite and she loved sharing it with her friend, Evelyn. The two girls have known each other since 5th grade and have never been apart since. It was Melanie’s 14th birthday tomorrow and her boyfriend, Nick Jonas would be flying in from LA to New Jersey today at 6:30 in the morning.
She was up long enough to get ready as it took an hour to get to the airport. Evelyn’s father decided to drive the girls down and he himself head to work and beat the rush hour traffic to New York. She wore her favorite black skinny jeans, which complimented her figure nicely and paired it along with a fitted graphic tee. She picked up her comfy snow boots and and her jacket while she rushed over to the kitchen. She was running late, therefore picking up a scrap paper and a pen and jotted down a note for her parents. It read:
Mom Dad,
Gone to pick up Nick and his bros. at the airport with Evelyn and her father. I left at 5:23. Call the cell if needed. I love you. Be back Later.

On the way out, she quickly stopped and remembered her scarf that Nick had given her on valentines day. She rushed out the door, scarf in hand and cap snuggly fit on her sleek black hair. The walk to Evelyn’s house was a short one. A couple minutes later, she reached the big house and was knocking on the red oak door that stood out for the freshly fallen snow.
A familiar face appeared, Evelyn’s mom. She was also up early to head over to her day care she ran. It was called Busy Bee Day Care. They greeted with short kisses on the cheeks and Melanie headed up to Evelyn’s room or as she would call it, Eve’s Crib. She walked in to find Evelyn slipping on her boots and grabbing her ear muffs.
“Ready to go?” Melanie asked anxiously. “Yeah, let me just grab my iPod.” Eve got what she needed and the 2 excited girls headed downstairs in search for Eve’s father. They wanted to be extra early for their favorite people in the world and would die if they missed a minute of them. “Girls, let’s go!” the father yelled from upstairs. “Dad, we’re downstairs already. Now, you hurry up!” Eve wailed from downstairs frustrated at her father. A minute later the father came down fully dressed, briefcase in hand and soon, they were out the door heading to the busy airport.
