Okay here's a new fanfiction I wrote. Tell me if you like it, and for all the people who auditioned and got parts, those parts will be coming in after maybe two chapters. It just depends on your part. Anyways, please comment :D

Chapter~1

Three to three. That was the score. The Pittsburgh Penguins verses the New Jersey Devils. I looked up at the big screen. Only a minute left for us to take the lead and keep it for the win. I sat back in my seat as the Devils’ coach called a time-out. All around me I heard different chants cheering on the home team. The Devils. I wasn’t out on the ice, but I sure wanted to be. Sure, I would get to go out after the game with my brothers to get a feel of experience, but I wanted to be in the game. I wanted to win it for us. For my home state that is. You might be wondering how I’m getting the chance to go out on the ice and skate after the game. Well it’s amazing some of the things you get to do when you’re famous.

The time out was over. The players got back out onto the ice. It was a face off in the center. The referee dropped the puck. It was captain verses captain for the face off. Crosby for the Penguins and Langenbrunner for the Devils. Sidney Crosby got the puck and passed it to his team mate Evgeni Malkin. Oh crap. They had out some of their best, not to mention youngest players. That was something the Pens were known for. Having extremely talented young players, and honestly, I admired them. As a matter of fact, all the players they had on the ice now were twenty five or younger. Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Jordan Staal, Kris Letang, Ryan Whitney, and Marc-Andre Fleury. Now, it’s not that the Devils’ players are old, but lets just say that their captain is twelve years older than the Penguins’. Oh and the Devils’ youngest player is about five years older than the Penguins’ youngest.

There was thirty seconds left and the Pens still had possession of the puck. Malkin passed to Staal, who passed to Crosby who took a shot with twenty seconds to go. Our goalie, Martin Brodeur, blocked the shot but it rebounded back towards Staal. He shot it again with ten seconds left. Brodeur went to grab the puck as it flew past his left ear. It was in the net, a goal. The Penguins’ bench cheered as the clock ran out. The crowd was basically silent. I was disappointed, but I wasn’t surprised. The Penguins were a great team. Heck, they had almost won the Stanley Cup last June.

Me and my brothers left our seats and once the arena was empty we got our hockey gear on and went out on the ice. I looked around the arena and pictured all the seats filled with fans cheering for me. Yeah I had that happen a lot already, but for a different reason. Don’t get me wrong, I love music and all of my fans (who are mostly girls), but I have always dreamed of being cheered on for another reason. I wanted to have fans (that included guys) that would cheer for me because I helped my team win. I have always loved sports and before I got into singing I wanted to be a hockey player. What little boy doesn’t dream of becoming a pro athlete one time or another?

One day I wished that I would be out here on the ice, skating down towards the goal with the puck in front of me. I would fake left, then skate right to trick the goalie. Then I’d shoot it right in the goal. I’d here the buzzer and the music would play. The crowd would cheer and my teammates would rush out from the bench and come congratulate me for winning the game. The announcer would come on and say “Goal scored by Joseph Jonas, unassisted”. I would smile and wave to the crowd. Yeah, that’s my dream that I’ve always wanted to happen, and little did I know, there was a good chance of it happening.

Chapter~2

“Nick, you’re goalie.” I said to my brother. It was me, Nick, Kevin, and Garbo out on the ice. We invited Garbo to come with us to the game since it’s his home team too and he thought it would be fun to play hockey where the pros did. Nick and I were on a team, and Garbo and Kevin were a team.

“Sounds good to me.” Nick said as he skated down to the goal.

“You ready little brother?” Kevin asked me. Garbo was their teams’ goalie so Kevin was their offence.

“I’ve been ready for thirty five years.” I said with a serious tone but trying to be funny. Kevin laughed. I looked to my left. My dad stood there holding a hockey puck.

“Alright boys,” He started, holding his whistle close to his mouth. He counted to three and then blew it as he dropped the puck.

About an hour later we were just about done playing. Me and Nick’s team, which we had named The Ninja Squad X-Force, (don’t ask), had beaten Kevin and Garbo’s team, The Muffin Line (once again, don’t ask), by a score of eight to one. I had scored all of our eight goals, and the one that Kevin scored was only because he tripped me and Nick wasn’t paying attention because he was laughing at me. Yeah, you could say I was a pretty beast like hockey player, and apparently Michel Therrien thought so too.

“Excuse me,” Michel said to me. I was sitting down on the ice starting to take off my gloves and helmet. I was sweating pretty badly. I was tired too.

“Yeah?” I asked after I had taken a drink of water.

“My name’s Michel Therrien. I’m the coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins. I was watching you play and you’re pretty good.” he said. I looked up at him. Was I really that good? Good enough for him to think so?

“Well, thank you sir.” I said with a surprised tone to my voice, “I’m honored that you think so. You obviously know good players when you see them, your team is amazing.”

“Well your very welcome, and thank you.” he said with a slight smile. “Have you ever played ice hockey before?”

“Well, not professionally.” I said thinking of how I used to play with some of my friends as a kid.

“I’m surprised not. How would you like to come to Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh and practice a little with the team, and possibly play in some games?” He asked me smiling. Was he serious? Of course I wanted to. I thought of a clever way to answer.

“H-E-double hockey sticks yeah!” I said smiling. Coach Therrien laughed.

“A great hockey player with a great sense of humor,” he started, “You will fit in very nicely with the rest of the team.”

“Thank you sir.” I said. “My manager a.k.a. dad is back out in the locker room with my brothers if you need to talk to him.”

“Will do.” He said with a smile on his face. He walked off the ice and back into the locker room. I couldn’t believe it. I was going to be a hockey player in the NHL. Who would have guessed?
