Chapter 5
“Everyone we are about to land so let’s go over some things okay? First start getting your coats on” Denise Jonas told the whole crew. I changed and had some tights put on and a black coat with a scarf. The boys all had hats and multiple color coats, no wonder.
“We are first heading to the hotel, where we are staying overnight, you will be doing some press and then lunch. We are having all afternoon for tour rehearsals and if we have time, we are going to the studio for some recording. Any questions?” asked Kevin Sr. looking at the boys. I got tired already just hearing what the day had ahead of us.
“Yeah, can we go shopping by any chance?” asked Joe, giving his parents lost puppy dog eyes.
“No Joseph, you will be able to shop when we get a free day. Remember that we will be having one every two days so, just calm down” Denise told him. He had a face like a kid that just opened up his Christmas present and saw that there were socks or cloths in them. I laughed to myself.
We all started to get off the plane. Denise leading the way with Frankie, then came Joe, Kevin Sr., Nick, Kevin and me. I still had no idea where to go so I figured I was just gonna go with the flow, follow whoever was in front of me. Before I knew it, I was going blind with camera flashes, security was called and we were turned into a small group of people. Yelling fans, getting pushed by people…everything started going crazy. I didn’t mean to stay behind and believe me, I didn’t even notice it. I started to panic when I felt a warm hand on my arm,
“Hey come on, keep up Miss M. we don’t wanna loose you in your first day” Kevin told me. I relaxed under him and followed them towards the black Escalade.
“How often does this happen again?” I asked out of breath, sitting besides Big Rob and Kevin.
“From 5 to 8 times a day, but wait until we start the tour and the release of the new CD” Nick said.
I closed my eyes trying to find a way to get over my claustrophobic problem. How was I gonna deal with the whole situation, I had not thought of those things before …how stupid of me.
“Does anyone have water? I think somebody is about to faint in here people!” Joe shouted out. I was quickly given the bottle of water and cooled off.
“Hey it’s alright, nothing will happen to you I promise, they seem bad but we have everything under control” Nick told me from behind. I just made a smile and stared out the road. I hadn’t even noticed that we were half way to our hotel and the city looked beautiful.
“It’s beautiful isn’t it?” said Kevin quietly to me.
“Yeah, it is. I can’t believe I’m in New York“ I told him staring down the front window.
“You have never been to New York? “ Kevin asked a little too close to me. I shook my head, not being able to form words. I still could not believe how on earth could three brothers be so good looking, it was not possible.
“Well, I’ll just have to show you around the city then” I looked the other way with a huge smile on my face.
“I would love that” I said under my breath, and boy did I meant it. |

Chapter 6
“Come on, everyone out!” said Big Rob. We were entering the hotel by the back door, so thank goodness for me, no mob scene.
“Ok so, Joseph, Nicholas, Kevin your room key. It’s a suite so don’t give me that look, you all have your own bed. We are in the room down the hall and Mary, you have the room besides the boys. Go get settled, Nick check your sugar then meet Miss Mary for school work.” All eyes left Mr. Jonas and we all began our duties.
I got up to my hotel room, watching the boys get into theirs. My jaw hit the floor when I saw it, I had an amazing view of Central Park, there was a king size bed in the middle of it, a big T.V. and even had a Jacuzzi. As I continued exploring the room I heard a knock on my door, assuming it was Nick but when I answered it, he wasn’t there. I heard a knock again but noticed it came from another place. I didn’t notice there was a door just besides the couch, it was one of those doors that connected two rooms.
I opened the door and saw Nick with his books and notebook.
“I’m ready Miss Mary” he said to me with a smile. This would be easy, Nick was the type of person who followed instructions and was one hell of a smart boy.
We started to do school work on the table that sat in the middle of the room. I decided to take things slow at first, just to see where he was.
“So I will leave you a tiny bit of home work alright?” I asked him two hours later.
“I want an essay about world war two. I want your opinion about it and a little bit of how it got started, the main ideas” I told him while he took note of every word I said.
“Yea that’s fine. Hey you are cool, I liked the first day of school and that’s not common” he said gathering his things.
“Well, you are not common if you think about it Nick. Besides your too smart, you’ll graduate before you know it” and I was not lying. Just then, we heard a voice from the other room.
“Oh Nicholas mother wants us to have lunch downstairs” Joe pretty much shouted to the entire hotel in an English accent.
We opened the door and I saw Joe putting on his sunglasses.
“Miss Mary, you too. Come on guys I’m starving, I think I’m eating the whole menu today” Joe told us rubbing his stomach.
“Oh I will just grab my things” I quickly told them going back to my room.
“We will wait for you down the elevator” said Nick getting Joe by the arm and out the room.
I grabbed my purse and phone in a rush and ran towards the boy’s room again. Just then I bumped into someone and hit the floor.
“So sorry I was not watching where I was going” I said. I didn’t think anyone was left on the room, I guess Kevin was in the bathroom or something.
“That’s fine it was not your fault, let me help you” said Kevin with a light shade of pink in his cheeks. This was so embarrassing, I could feel my face burning up. Kevin offered me his hand and I took it, feeling warm inside. There was an awkward silence after that, as I looked at my feet. Kevin was about to say something when Frankie got in the room,
“Hey guys, Joe said that if you kept him waiting he might eat Nick” he said out of breath.
Kevin and I just looked at each other and walked down to the elevator. Joe sending me an evil look
“What were you guys doing anyway?” We both looked at each other and smiled, not saying a word as the elevator took us downstairs.

Hi guys!! sorry I was gonna update sooner but I had a really bad night. Anyway here it is and I will post 2 more tomorrow hopefuly! Its short, I noticed I started to write the first chapters and got a little excited and worte to much so this are shorter, or should they be longer? jaja sorry I am kind of new to this...
P.S. I heard an interview of the boys with JohnJay and Rich and Kevin said Nick's teacher was way hot lol !
Chapter 7
“That was one nice meal” Joe said rubbing his stomach.
“Yea since you ate 2 burgers, a milk shake and ice cream. How do you not explode?” I asked him. That boy could eat, actually all of them. They seem small but man, I had no idea how much space they had for food.
“Let’s all head to the bus guys. We are leaving for rehearsals in 10 so, get ready” Felicia, their personal assistant told us.
We all went to our rooms; I brushed my teeth and changed my outfit for some jeans and a t shirt taking a jacket just in case it was colder in the venue. As I entered the tour bus I saw this was not any ordinary bus, it had a kitchen, a table, T.V.s everywhere and the bunks, they were bigger than my normal bed back home. I laid my stuff in my bunk and went into the back lounge where I heard voices.
“Oh hey, nice of you to join us” Nick told me. I sat down next to him and asked
“So, what are you doing?”
“We are writing songs. We will be having a tour bus with a studio in it so we can record the next album. It’s gonna be awesome!” Joe said.
The rest of the family joined us soon after, and I left them to start school work with Frankie on the other room.
“Frankie come on little man, let’s just go through the whole multiplications and then you can go play around, deal?” I asked him in the nicest way. I can see where the problem was, how can a kid think about school when his brothers are down the hall goofing around and singing?
After an hour of drive I had finished my teaching with Frankie, and everyone started to unload the things from the bus.
“Come on Miss Mary we have to go see the stage. It’s new and it has lights on it and fire” Frankie said jumping up and down. I agreed but told him that after that we were finishing school. As we entered I was shocked by how big the stage was. It was great and the boys started to check it out as did the band. I just stood there when I felt a tap on my shoulder,
“How did my boys do?” asked Denise.
“They are great Mrs. Jonas, really don’t worry. Frankie needs a little help but, I will get him to be an A student and Nick, well Nick already is an A student” I said watching them talk with the crew.
“Please, don’t give up on us Mary. If you feel uncomfortable in any way let us know dear” She said taking my hand.
I watched Frankie and Kevin playing around, Kevin putting his guitar on the shoulders of his little brother showing him how to play. They laughed and I saw Kevin kneeling down to him and right then and there I knew I had started to like someone a little bit different than the others
“I won’t Mrs. Jonas, I promise.”

oohh is someone crushing on kevo? lol PMS! and I had a weird night. let's just say I never want to meet my best guy friend's friend because he said he loves me and I'm hot. I told him I have a very protective older brother. lol. anywho PMS!

Chapter 8
The next day the boys did a little bit of press, radio interviews and a photo shoot. I did my school work with Nick and Frankie but decided to stay in the hotel so I could relax a little, and as I sat in my room with a hot cup of coffee, I thought about how much more the family had ahead of them. They were so young but at the same time, even Joe…occasionally, acted so much older than their chronological ages. I admired their efforts and sacrifices, getting up really early and doing homework, T.V. or any other activity that was nothing like a regular kid who attended high school or college.
I had started to get to know them better; Nick was the person I could count on, he had the ability to listen and talk little, but when he did open his mouth, his words always told the truth. Joe was a light in the dark, he had an amazing ability to make people laugh but not only that, but smile with their hearts. Frankie was the sweetest boy you could ever meet, and he was slowly learning by watching other’s mistakes, how to live life to the fullest, and Kevin, well he was an unsolved mystery to me. I had talked little with him but he had a way of making you feel that, even though there might be a million people in the room, you were the most important of all and had his full attention. I knew it was wrong to have those feelings, but I also knew it was impossible to tell you heart who to like or who to love. All I could do was step away from him, since I knew I had no chance what so ever to take a place in his life as something else but his brothers’ teacher.
I heard a knock on my door, the one that connected the rooms. As I opened the door I saw Kevin in some dressy pants
“Hi Mary. I was wondering if you’d like to have dinner? Nick and Joe were having a gathering with some of their friends from Broadway and Mom took Frankie to Maya’s place”
“Um, yea sure. Give me 10?” I asked.
“Take all the time you need, I’ll be here. Knock when you’re ready” he said smiling.
“Wait, where are we going?” I asked. I wanted to know what should I wear.
“Oh, you’ll see” and with that he closed the door. |
