Chapter 1
"Mommy, are we there yet?" Kati asked. "No not yet." Her momma replied. Kati and her mom, and dad were moving to New Jersey to live with some close friends of them. Kati was 5 years old and an only child. She was rather shy and wanted friends but this move was going to turn this around and she was going to get some close friends. Soon. They finally came to a stop after a long 6 hour drive. And right when they came out, Kaiti's mom and dad's friends were there. "Kati, say hi to Denise and her husband, Kevin they've been wanting to meet you." Kati when up and when Denise said hi she waved and hid behind her mommy. "Denise and Kevin chuckled and said. "We have a son the same way and he's your age. Let me go get him." She ran into the backyard and screamed three names three boys about 5, 8, and 10 came out of the back yard. "Kati i'd like you to meet Kevin, Joseph, and Nicholas."

Chapter 2
"Hi." Kati said shyly and waved at the three boys. "Hi." They all said back. "Would you like to play with us?" Nick asked. "Yea i'd love too." Kati replied. That's when Nick grabbed her hand and they skipped together into the backyard. "What would you like to play with?" Joe asked. "Sandbox." She replied. "Ok." Joe and Kevin went to get the toys for Kati and Nick and thats when Kati and Nick began to talk. "So Kati, how old are you?" Nick asked. "Five." "Me too!" They played and giggled and talked together for the rest of the afternoon. Once it was dark out everyone had to go inside. By this time everyone had nicknames for one another. "Bye Danger." Kati said and went to hug Joe." "Bye Katipoo." He said. Then she went up to Kevin (which Kati called Kevi) and said bye to him and last but not least she went up to Nick. "Bye bye Nickypoo." She said. "See you tomorrow, Princess." He replied and with that everyone went inside. "So I see you made some new friends today." Kati's mom replied with a smile. "Yes I did." She said. "Did you have fun ?" Her dad asked. "Yes I did." She said smiling in a cute little five year old way. "Are you ready to start kindergarten tomorrow with Nick?" "Yes I am and it's Nicky poo. That's what I call him." Both Kati's mom and dad chuckled. "Do you have nicknames for Joe and Kevin too?" "Yes Kevi and Danger." They both started laughing hysterically knowing that theese four kids were going to be best friends for ever no matter of what would happen.
*At the Jonas house*
"Did you boys have fun this afternoon with Kati?" Denise asked. All the boys replied yes and said that she was really nice. "Good." Denise replied. "Were going out to dinner with them tomorrow night. "Yes!" All three boys cheered. Now boys, it's time to go to bed but Nick wait here. I have something to give to you. Then I have to help you get in the bathtub. Nick listened to his mom's directions. "Now this is Kati's phone number in case you want to cll her. I know you had the most fun with her today." Nick smiled in a cute five year old way he took a bath and then he feel asleep. He couldn't wait until tomorrow.

Chapter 3
*the next morning*
This particualar morning, Nick got up early. Not neceserilly because he was going to Kindergarten, which he loved so much, but he was going with Kati, which was even better and also that dinner was tonight so today was an extremely good day and he was really excited. So, he snuck out of bed put his clothes on himself and went downstairs. This is when he grabbed an old wooden spoon and a big pan and went across the house banging on it. "Joe, Kevin, Mommy, Daddy!" He started yelling. In one second everyone was up and Nick smiled that cute adorable five year old smile like he always did. "What's the matter?" Denise asked. "I was trying to wake everyone up." "Nicholas..." Paul started but then bursted into laughter noticing that how his clothes were on backwards and said. "Let me help you with your clothes and then we'll get everyone else up okay little buddy." "Okay Daddy. I have to look best for Kati." He said. His farther chuckled and smiled as they walked up the stairs.
*at Kati's house*
"Mommy! Daddy! Wake up I have to go with Nick to school soon!" Both her parents woke up automatically at the sound of this and meaning by soon they thought she meant really really soon. So both got up and noticed Kati fully dressed, hair brushed backpack and lunch box ready and breakfeast sitting on the kitchen table. When her parents noticed the time. Her mom, Marylin said, "Honey it's only 7 o clock you still have a while we meet Nick at 8:30 but I'm glad you woke us up." she said so her parents went upstairs to get dressed and ate then time flyed so fast they didn't even notice the time when........
