“I love you Ren.” He said whispered softly into her ear, causing shivers to run down her spine, as he twirled a piece of her bright read hair between his fingers. That’s one of the things he loved the most about her. Even if her hair was the color of a blazing fire, and green her eyes were sharp enough to pierce through him, she had a heart of gold and was the most loving person he had ever met. He often found himself sitting in awe of how incredibly wise she could be, always having something to say when everyone else didn’t. She was the one person in the world who truly understood him. She understood how he felt when his brothers got attention and he was left in the shadows. But all of those worries were left behind when he met her. She didn’t judge him, and she loved him, even when he was at his worst.
“I love you too.” She replied sweetly, leaning over and planting a loving kiss on his soft cheek.
“You know what?” He said, rolling over onto his side to look her square in the eyes, a mischievous but loving grin on his face.
“What?” She said, slightly confused by the look he was giving her, his eyes full of lust and desire.
“We should get married.” He said matter-of-factly. Her heart skipped a beat as she heard the words exit his mouth, and her eyes widened when she realized he was being completely serious.
“K-Kevin… are you sure? I mean, we still have our entire lives ahead of us.” She said, her heart saying the opposite, urging her to take him up on his offer.
“I know, but I love you. I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You’re the one that I want to grow old with, and you’re the one that I want to raise children with. So why wait?” He said, his voice full of sincerity, as he took her hands in his and slowly brought them up to his mouth, laying soft kisses on them.
She looked straight into his eyes, taking a deep breath before speaking.
“Ok. Lets do it.”
