Okay guys, here's a little one-shot I just finished! I am so sorry I haven't posted my up-coming Kevin fic yet but I'm kinda blocked on that one and I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my fics but I PROMISE I will try to have it up by no later than this weekend. Hopefully this will hold you all over until then and I thank you all for your patience! :D

Summary: Nick proposes to his long-time girlfriend, Jenna.
Warnings: None, just lots of fluff.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything except for this story. The Jonas Family own themselves, Jenna and Ashley own themselves. Oh, and I didn't get paid for any of this!

2) This is a future fic. Nick and Jenna are 20, Joe and Ashley are 22, and Kevin and Andie are 24.

In his livingroom, Nicholas Jonas paces nervously. Tonight was THE night. It was Jenna's birthday and he was planning on popping the question. They had been together for 3 years since they met at a Meet & Greet and Nick felt that it was finally time to make her his wife.
His brothers Joe and Kevin were sitting in his livingroom with him, waiting until it was time to pick up their significant others to take them to their parents' house for the party.
"Nick! Would you stop pacing! You're driving us nuts!" Joe shouted impatiently, stepping in front of his younger brother to prevent him from taking another step.
"Sorry man, I'm just really nervous." Nick said, bringing his right hand to his mouth, biting down on the nail.
"Dude, you don't need to be nervous. Jenna's crazy about you, of course she'll say yes." Kevin reasoned, getting up from his seat on the couch and crossing the small livingroom to join his brothers.
"Hmmm, I never thought that should WOULD say no...until now! Thanks a lot Kevin!" Nick shouted, running his hands through his unruly curls.
"I was just trying to calm you down. She's not going to say no. Just relax, okay." Kevin smiled sympathetically, placing a comforting hand on his younger brother's shoulder.
"Kevin's right, you just need to relax. Its perfectly natural to be nervous. I was a nervous wreck before I proposed to Ashley." Joe said, placing a hand on Nick's other shoulder.
"Yeah. How about you, Kev? Were you this nervous before you proposed to Andie?" Nick asked.
"Oh yes, definitely. But I just reminded myself that it was something that I really wanted and I knew that she loved me and that helped...sort of." Kevin chuckled nervously.
"Sort of?" Nick asked, raising an eyebrow at his eldest brother.
"Yeah, you never get over the nervousness completely. But don't worry, Jenna is absolutely crazy about you. You have nothing to worry about and we'll be there to cheer you on. Right, Joe?" Kevin finished, casting a glance at Joe.
"Of course. We're here for you, man." Joe smiled, removing his hand from Nick's shoulder and patting him on the back.
Just then, Nick's cell phone rang, he glanced at the caller ID and smiled before answering it, "Hey babe."
"Hello to you too, sweetheart." came the voice of Kevin's wife, Andie, sounding quite amused.
"Andie? Why are you calling from Jen's phone?" Nick asked, pulling a face.
"She's busy getting ready and my cell's dead. We'll be ready to go in about a half hour so you should probably start heading over here." Andie said, glancing at her watch.
"Alright, see you guys in a bit. Bye." Nick said before hanging up.
"Are the girls almost ready?" Kevin asked.
"Yeah, Andie said they'd be ready in about half an hour so we should start heading over to your place." Nick said, slipping his phone back into his pants pocket before heading to the small closet by the front door, grabbing his jacket and slipping it on.
"Alright, lets go!" Joe yelled excitedly, jumping up and down like a kid on Christmas morning.
"Joe, chill! Seriously, I don't know how Ashley puts up with you sometimes..." Kevin chuckled, rolling his eyes.
"Hey, do you think all of us will fit into my car or should we each take our own?" Nick asked once they were standing in the parking lot.
"We should all just take our own so we don't all have to come back here before we go home." Joe said, already walking towards his car. Joe just didn't like riding with Nick because he was constantly reminded of the fact that his younger brother got his license before he did.
Nick and Kevin just shook their heads and got into their cars. They all pulled out of the parking lot and headed to Kevin's house.
~Kevin's House~
All three men got out of their cars and walked up the front steps. Kevin, being the first one to make it to the door, went to turn the knob but frowned when it didn't move. He quickly pulled his keys back out of his pocket, found the proper key, jammed it in the lock and turned it. He pushed the door open and smiled upon seeing his wife and sister-in-law sitting on the couch.
"Hey girls. Afraid of the Boogey-man, are we?" he asked with an amused chuckle.
"Honey, we're three women alone in a house. Of course we're going to lock the door." Andie smiled, hoisting herself up off of the couch to greet her husband with a kiss.
"Well that makes sense then. So how are you feeling?" he asked, placing his left hand on his wife's swollen stomach.
"I'm feeling fine, don't worry." Andie smiled at her husband's concern. He had a right to be concerned, after all it had taken them 2 years to concieve so he was not taking any chances with the health of his wife and unborn child.
"Okay...we get it. You can quit being lovey dovey. Ash, can you go see if Jenna's ready?" Nick asked, rolling his eyes at his brother and sister-in-law.
"Sure." Ashley said simply, getting off of the couch and heading up the stairs and into Andie and Kevin's bedroom, "Hey Jen, you ready?"
"Yeah, I am. So, how do I look?" Jenna asked, biting down on her lower lip while smoothing out the material of her knee-length dark blue satin dress.
"You look great! Now come on, the guys are downstairs waiting!" Ashley exclaimed, grabbing Jenna's hand and pulling her out of the room.
Ashley hurried down the stairs but Jenna lingered just around the corner, trying to calm her nerves. For some reason she was nervous and couldn't pin-point why.
"Jen! You coming, babe?" she heard Nick's voice call from downstairs and all of her nervousness melted away. She smiled as she rounded the corner and carefully made her way down the stairs.
She chuckled softly at the sight of Nick standing in front of her with his jaw hanging, "You like?" she asked, giving a little spin.
"Wow, you look...amazing!" Nick smiled, finally snapping out of his daze and leaning down to give his girlfriend a soft kiss on the lips.
"Good...now we can finally go!" Jenna said, practically bouncing with excitement. After all, it WAS her birthday party they were going to. Her excitement, however was deminished when she remembered that her parents would not be there to celebrate her birthday with her.
"Hey, why so sad all of a sudden?" Nick asked, noticing the frown on his girlfriend's face.
"I just remembered that my parents aren't going to be there. I really miss them." Jenna sniffled a bit, dabbing at her eyes with some Kleenix she kept in her purse.
"I know honey but I promise, we'll make it out to Alabama really soon for a visit, okay?" Nick said, doing his best to comfort her.
"Okay, well...lets get going!" Jenna said, grabbing Nick's hand, leading him out to his car.
~Paul Sr. and Denise's House~
All three couples made their way into the house, which was already packed with party guests, with smiles on their faces. The livingroom area was decorated with balloons, streamers and a huge 'Happy Birthday Jenna!' sign hanging over the padio door. There were tables of food set up against the back wall and the furniture had been moved to make more room for the guests.
Denise came rushing up to her sons and their significant others and greeted them with hugs, "Hey sweetie! Happy birthday!" Denise beamed, hugging Jenna especially tight.
"Haha, thanks Denise." Jenna laughed, returning Denise's affections.
Jenna walked around and greeted all of her guests, giving hugs or shaking hands, depending on how well she knew them. Thanking each of them for coming. She chuckled to herself, seeing a now 12 year old Frankie sitting in the corner of the room playing his Nintendo DS and completely ignoring everyone and everything else in the room. She decided to go over to him and start conversation, "Hey Frankie, what are you playing?" she asked.
"Mario Kart." he said simply, not bothering to look up.
"Okay...so, are you winning?" Jenna asked.
"Yeah, I just won 1st Place in the Flower Cup." he said, finally looking up at her with a smile.
"Cool...well I'll just leave you alone then." Jenna smiled, walking away.
Suddenly the music stopped and Jenna turned to see Nick standing in front of the radio, trying to get everyone's attention, "Okay everyone, its time for presents." Nick grinned.
"Already? I thought we did that AFTER cake?" Jenna asked, eyeing Nick suspiciously.
"Well not tonight. This first present is something I know you really want so guys, bring out the first gift!" Nick announced.
Joe and Kevin brought out Jenna's first birthday gift. And this wasn't any ordinary gift, it was her parents. With a tearful smile Jenna ran and greeted them with suffocating hugs.
"Its good to see you too, honey." Ken Williams chuckled, embracing his daughter with a tight hug.
"Oh my God...I missed you guys so much!" Jenna cried, moving to hug her mother.
"We missed you too, honey." Cindy smiled tearfully, pulling her daughter into a hug.
"Jen was really upset when she thought her parents couldn't be here for her birthday so I flew them out as the first part of my gift to her." Nick said, explaining the situation to everyone.
Jenna reluctantly pulled away from her parents and walked over to Nick, hugging him as well. "I swear, I have the sweetest boyfriend ever! Thank you so much, really." she smiled, giving him a quick kiss.
"So, are you ready for the second half of your gift?" Nick asked, discreetly slipping his hand into his right pocket.
"Second half? There's more?" Jenna asked, disbelievingly.
"Yeah there is." Nick said, his voice wavering slightly. "Jenna, I love you more than you will ever know. You've made me so happy these past 3 years and now I want to make you happy...for the rest of our lives," he said, pulling a small black velvet box out of his pocket, opening it and getting down on one knee, "I guess what I'm trying to say here is...you would make me the happiest man alive if you would do me the honor of becoming my wife. Will you marry me?" he asked, tears brimming in his eyes.
Jenna's breath caught in her throat and tears immediatly sprang to her eyes. She stood there for what seemed like forever before finally finding her voice, "Yes Nick, I will marry you." she chocked out, trying to stop the happy sob she knew was building in the back of her throat.
Everyone in the room cheered as the happy couple embraced.
They saw or heard nothing else that went on in the room at that moment. All that mattered was each other as they gazed deeply into each others eyes.
Sure, there would be tears and bumps along the way but they knew as long as they had each other they could make it through anything because they had finally found the love they had been waiting for. They had finally found the love of a lifetime...
