The Power Of Love

                                                   A Nick Fan Fiction

Large breaths of air, blowing at the window from Nick's mouth. He was trying to make fog, so he would be able to write something on the window. His fingers ran smoothly through the fog writing out, "President Jonas, 2038." It was 4 a.m. in New Jersey, and he loved the smell of dew in the morning. Looking around the house, to see if anyone was awake, he opened the front door, twisting the knob as quietly and slowly as he could, and he was off. He wanted to hear the birds chirp, see the trees sway, back and forth, he wanted to be alone.The feeling of being with himself was just a little different to him. The usual way is, paparazzi all around him and his brothers, and Big Rob in front of him. Stepping outside into the fresh air, all alone, was just something so new to him. He actually loved the feeling of it. Each foot was stepping into one of the cement squares, as he had walked since he was a little kid. He came across the old park that he always used to go to. He decided to go in. He loved this park because there was a big path for people just to walk through, and in the middle there were play structures for the little ones. The last time he came to this park, it was the playscape for him. Now that he is older, it is the path he has to walk, as much as he would love to run to the monkeybars. He never regreted being a huge rockstar, but he would just love for one day, to be able to live a normal life. Kicking the leaves and branches that he came upon on the sidewalk, he enjoyed the time to himself. There were black benches all around the park, birdbaths and mini gardens too. But at one bench, there was a girl. A girl with her legs crossed, crying. Nick didn't know what to do. He wasn't sure if he wanted to ask her what's wrong and comfort her, or just walk right past her and leave her alone. Typical Nick, he went to talk to her.

"Miss, are...are you alright?" Nick said to the girl.
"I'm fine. Please, just leave me alone."
"Are you sure there's nothing you need me to do? Just ask."
The girl lifted up her face and stood up. Screaming she said,
"NO, I'M SERIOUS JUST ...." Then she saw the face of Nick Jonas.
"I'm sorry for yelling at you. I just, I just didn't expect it to be you. I'm a little, well, shocked."
"It's okay. Want to sit down and tell me what's wrong?" Nick said sounding very serious.
"Sure."
Nick first saw her in a position where he couldn't even see her face, but now that he saw her face, he was just drawn in to her beauty. Her glossy hazel eyes, and her silky brown hair, her skin looked so smooth. Nick was completely amazed.
"I'm sorry, I just...don't feel comfortable talking to you." She said stepping backward.
"Don't worry, you can trust me. Please just tell me what's wrong."
"Wait. What is your name?" Nick asked the girl, feeling a little stupid.
"I'm Savannah."
"Okay, well, I'm ...." Nick said.
Savannah interrupted him, "Don't worry, I already know who you are."
They sat on the bench, and Savannah began to tell her story.

They sat there for about 2 hours. Savannah was talking and Nick was just patiently listening and looking at her dead on. He was paying attention. At some points, she would choke up, and Nick just gave her a hug to comfort her. It was a spark for Nick. Hugging her was like something he had never felt before. Goose bumps, jitters, he just didn't know what this feeling was. Once the conversation was over, they both stood up and just looked at each other.
"Uh, thanks for listening. It really, truly meant a lot." Savannah said.
"No problem." Nick said blushing.
"Well, goodbye." Savannah said, walking away slowly, hesitantly.
"WAIT!" Nick called out as loud as he could. "I know we just meet 2 hours ago but, would you ever, if you aren't busy, if you would like to -"
"I would love to go out with you Nick." Savannah said
"Really? Okay. It should be great."
Nick whipped out his iPhone added her to his phone book. They said their last goodbyes, and went back home.

NICK'S P.O.V.

Savannah was beautiful, inside and out. While she was telling me her story, she just had such passion. She has a heart of gold. There is this bright, amazing glow in her eyes. Like, every time you look into them, you just never ever want to stop. Even with make-up running all down her face, I just wanted to wipe it all off, and take her in my arms. She was so delicate. I wanted to talk to her more, for hours and hours. I wanted to know so much more about her. But still, it must be a really hard time for her though, because her mother just died. I just want to sit close to her and comfort her. I want to see her again. Actually, I need to see her again.

SAVANNAH'S P.O.V.

Sadness. All week. My mom. She is, she's gone. Gone forever, gone for good. I just kept crying. I have been crying all week, and the only time I ever took a break was when I was talking to Nick. Me, Savannah Harrington. I talked to Nick Jonas. Nick Jonas talked to me. I'm still in shock over this whole situation. It was just so easy for me to talk to him. He looked me right in the eyes. His beautiful, gorgeous brown eyes. His eyebrows were TO DIE for. Whenever I looked at him, he was looking at me. I could just tell he was. He looked so focused on me. I just wished we could have stayed there forever. I felt like I could just tell him my whole life story. I would tell him everything, but I don't think Nick wants to know that I am homeless. It would just be too much. 


Does Nick think Savannah is his love at first sight ? Is it even love at all ? Will Nick find out about Savannah being homeless ? Will there be more secrets that Savannah has ? At least 5 comments and I will put the next chapter up soon! (:
