Ok, so this fanfic was formally "Superheroes, Squirtguns, and Silly String", but unfortunately, that thread is gone.
And, I did not save that Prolouge.
So, now I have to re-write it. :[[
Anywho, here we goooo !

Prolouge
People - well, most people outside my family - don't like me.
I'm not popular; I'm not pretty; I'm not girly.
But when I met Mandy, one thing in life changed -
How much I valued friendship.
May 30th, 2000.
"Moooom..." I whined, looking at the big truck full of boxes.
"I'll get all the boxes," she said, brushing past me to help the movers.
Oh sure, I have to move from sunny California to... this.
Wyckoff, New Jersey.
Someone tapped my shoulder.
I whipped around, my loose ponytails whipping my face.
But there stood a pretty girl about my age.
Wazy blond hair; blue eyes; cream colored skin.
"Um, hi," she said timidly. "I'm Mandy."
I was taken aback. Was she actually talking to me?
"Uhhh," I said stupidly. "I'm... Um... Weatherly."
"Nice to meet you," Mandy said, smiling brightly. "Well, I'm sure you don't have any friends here yet. So could I be the first?"
My eyes nearly popped out of my head. Was this girl insane?!
"Uh, um," I looked around. Was there an army of popular girls with her just waiting to pounce?
"You can say no if you want," Mandy said faintly.
"No! No!" I stuttered. "I mean, sure. We can be friends."
"Yay!" She cheered, hugging me lightly.
And so, I met my one of my best friends.
Comments would be awesome.
By the way - Weatherly is my friend, so she isn't a fictional character :D
But she's easy and fun to talk to.
So.. yeah !

June 3rd, 2000.
I was in my backyard, picking at grass.
Mandy told me she had some old friends to catch up with, but then I heard her voice coming from next door.
Mandy lived across the street...
"It's so good to see you again, Denise!"
"You too, sweetheart," a woman replied.
"Mandy, I missed you!" A little boy squealed. I raised an eyebrow at the fence.
"I missed you too, Nicky!"
I ran over to the fence and climbed onto it, attemping to look over.
"Kevin, you've grown!" Mandy giggled.
"Four inches!" An older boy said triumphantly.
I couldn't see!
I walked over to the big cottonwood that stood next the the fence and leaned over into their yard.
I put on Converse-d foot on a foot hold and started to climb.
"Mandy, would you like some lemonade?"
"Aw, thanks, Mr. Jonas," she replied.
I sat on a wiggly branch and watched.
A woman; dark brown curls. The mom.
A man; wavy, light brown hair. The dad.
3 boys: the youngest; short brown hair, curling; maybe six. The middle; straight dark brown hair; maybe 10. The eldest; short, curly brown hair; maybe 12.
I leaned forward as they all chatted...
Until the branch made a snapping noise.
I stiffened and took a deep breath.
I could feel the sensation of falling.
You know, that feeling you get; butterflies that tickle and make you want to laugh?
Well, you don't feel like laughing when you land on the hard ground and hear your arm snap and break. Oh, no.
And so, the pain went away as my eyes closed.
The last thing I heard was Mandy's voice calling my name;
"WEATHERLY!"
