The Smile That Caught My Breath- Chapter One
Spencer's Pov
Spencer sighed as she finished gettting praise from the people she just sold a house to. Her feet where killing her and her cheeks where starting to burn from the wind blowing so hard in her face. Nothing like Maryland to mess up your 150 dollar due. She pulled her hair up into a mess ponytail. Just as she dropped her hands she froze. Kevin always liked it when she had her hair up in a messy up do.
She sighed remebering her friend that she loved more than just a friend. His smile would warm up her heart and make her feel like she was on cloud nine. Spencer laughed out loud at her corny thoughs. She stopped as the people around her looked at her funny. She turned a deep scarlett read she murmered a quiet sorry.
" Mrs. Nelson we would love to take you out for a thank you dinner you and your boyfriend", Her client Dani said. Her and her husband looked at her with smolding eyes as if they need to get out of the small town in Maryland.
" Ha, um sure we would love to", She said as she nodded her head. She pushed her light blonde her behind her slightly pink ears.
" Great will pick you up at seven. Its a nice resturant in New York. Not that far", Martin dani's husband said. Sencer looked taken back. That was along way away.
" Oh, private jet ofcourse", Dani said a s she rolled her light hazel eyes. Spencer sighed at with relife. The thought of a long car ride with theses two was frightening enough. She said her goodbyes as she went and got into her car. Taking off down the road.
Kevin's Pov
" Hey kevin look out", Ashleigh screamed, Kevin turned around and was hit in the chest by a heavy water ballon. He could here Joe cracking up on the florr from his girlfriends antics. Kevin rolled his eyes and walked up the stairs passing by Nick and his girlfriend Em, who where in a fierce lip lock.
" Get a room!", Kevin shouted as he walked by.
" Bitter as a grandma who's cookies got burnt", He heard Em mutter. Kevin turned around glaring at her as she smiled like she was a little 5 year old girl at chirstmas time. He sighed as he shook his wet head spreading water all over the two. Em shierked as kevin closed his bedroom door.
" Life sucks", Kevin whispered at his mirro. He hadnt been the same since he left......her. Spencer. He bit his lip thinking of her name. Her different, perfect out ther name. That he loved so much. The girl he was madly inlove, which he had to leave behind for his music. He half regrets it, but he half way doesnt. She needs someone to be there for her 24/7 not just on the phone or over email.
" Yea, but what I need is her", Kevin said as he fell backwards onto his bed. He held his head in his hands as he tired to block her from his thoguhts. Which only made it worst. He jumped up and let out a heavy sigh of frustration. Her smile his what haunted him the most, her bright face and the way it would make him almost stop breathing.
" Come on kevs! Where going to dinner in New York tonight!", He heard Joe shout. Great> Put me in more misery. He got ready and blted down the stairs. Not knowing fate was waiting on him........
