What was suppose to be the happiest day of my life, broke my heart. My wedding day, nothing had gone wrong yet. Everything was perfect. And I looked beautiful. But what started out as the perfect day, soon turned into a disaster.
I started at myself in the mirror and smiled. My beautiful white dress flowed behind me, leaving a small but beautiful trail behind me. The Tiara sat perfectly on my head, with a veil flowing down and clinging to the sides of my face. For the first time, I felt beautiful. I turned around to see the tears in my mothers eyes. I smiled brightly and gave her a quick hug before hearing my best friend, my chief bridesmaid, Alana calling that the car was here. My heart began to race faster and faster.
As I sat in the car, I prayed that nothing would go wrong, that I would get married to the man of my dreams and we would live happily ever after. And it felt like everything would go right, and nothing would go wrong. But I was wrong, so wrong.
The wedding march began and I started to walk up the isle, slowly with my father attached to my arm. As I looked to the front of the church. There he was, the man that I had always dreamt about marrying. Nicholas Jonas. He had the biggest smile plastered on his face and I couldn’t help but smile back. He always had that affect on me whenever he smiled, I smiled. Whenever he cried, I cried. Whatever he was feeling, I was feeling. It was just meant to be. Everytime I looked at his, he made me smile. Everytime I felt his lips on mine, he made my heart melt and whenever he looked at me, he made me shiver inside.
We took our vows and showed everyone that we truly loved each other. As we shared our first kiss as husband and wife, everyone cheered and clapped . We both laughed and made our way back down the isle and out of the church. As we stood and had our pictures took outside the church, I felt like the luckiest women ever. Nick could have had his pick of any girl he wanted, but he choose me, he wanted me which made me feel truly special.
When we arrived at the reception, I felt like I was in a crazy dream, but as I looked beside me and Nick was stood there smiling with his arm around me, I realised that it wasn’t a dream and I smiled yet again. But this was everyone’s dream the perfect wedding day with the perfect man by her side. Nick whispered softly that he wanted to go and get my present. I gave his a kiss and told him I loved him. As he left Alana came over smiling.
“Sineaddd! Awh im so happy for you, now you have to get Kevin to fall in love with me!” She said excitedly. I just laughed at her.
“Whatever!” I said and walked away to find my now brother-in-law, Joe. But when I couldn’t find him, Denise told me that he had gone with Nick to get my present. I smiled sweetly at her.
Nick had been gone for a while and I started to wonder where he had gotten too. I excused myself from everyone at the reception and made my way outside to see where he was. And what I saw devastated me.
I walked around the village looking for Nick. But I couldn’t find him anywhere. When I reached the church where Me and Nick had gotten married, I saw a crowd of people forming. I furrowed my eyebrows and cautiously walked over. As I pushed through the crowd and reached the front of the crowd, My heart broken into pieces. Nick was laid on the floor, with Joe cradling him in his lap. I ran over and got on my knees. The tears now spilling from my eyes.
“Please god no!” I screamed. But he was gone.
On our wedding day, My husband was hit by car by a drunken driver, and on our wedding day. I became a widow. Loosing Nick was the worse thing to ever happen to me. I was broken. I don’t stop thinking about him, How he made me feel, how he looked at me, how he smelt when we I cuddled him. My wedding day still haunts me, and im still broken. But one day, I will be reunited with my true love and then I will have my happy ever after.
