Hey guys! Now is My Time is a sequel to my fan fiction Dream Away. I just concluded it last night and I decided to make a sequel. For those of you new readers, this Prologue should catch you up. If not, if you have some spare time, you can look up Dream Away and read that to catch yourself up. So enjoy and don't forget to comment and tell me what you think after you read!
Kaylee’s P.O.V.
My name is Kaylee Andrews. I am basically your normal thirteen year old girl. I will be starting high school tomorrow, have parents that are very overprotective sometimes, and an annoying little brother. Perfectly normal, see? Oh wait, did I mention my boyfriend and his brothers are famous rock stars?
Yes, my boyfriend is Nick Jonas, brothers of Joe, and Kevin, also known as the Jonas Brothers. Funny thing is, we just met last week! I had found their little brother Frankie alone in the street. I helped him find the boys and they invited me to a concert and dinner. The rest was history! Nick and I started our relationship that night and the Jonases were like family to me! They even moved here to New York City so that Nick could stay close to me! How about that for a cool family?
But there was one problem: my over-protective parents. They did not care one bit how famous or nice the Jonases were. They didn’t approve of me hanging out with them. But they agreed to meet them that weekend. Unfortunately, those plans didn’t work out that great. That same day that they were supposed to meet the Jonases, my dad got hit by a car and went into a coma. I almost lost myself that day. Almost. If it weren’t for my new friend Jonathan, also known as JT. His dad was in a coma too and they had just pulled the plug on him that day. Having someone that understood how I was feeling really comforted me a lot. It confused me a little too, because I then developed feelings for JT. But then with Kevin’s help, I realized that it was okay to have feelings for another person, because there was always that one person that you know you will always go back to. And for me, that was Nick. Later on that day, the boys got to meet JT and his little sister Sara. JT shared his story with the boys about how their songs really helped him and Sara get through the hard time of his father in the coma. The boys were touched. So now, we were all great friends. Later that day, my dad came out of the coma and he met the Jonases the next day. As I knew they would, they got along perfectly. So now, the Andrews, the Jonases, and JT and Sara are all part of one big happy family.
But now summer is over and September is here. Next month, the boys start their tour with Miley and I will be starting high school at Saint Barnabas’ Academy for Girls tomorrow. The good news is that Sara is a senior there and JT is starting college only a few blocks away. So it’ll be really comforting to have them so close to me. The bad news is that I have a BUNCH of honors classes and community service hours to do. So I won’t be able to hang out with my extended family very much. But I know I’ll make time. There is always time for family.
Nick and I had a long discussion about when I start school. I’ve decided that I’m not going to tell anyone that I am going out with Nick or that I even know the Jonases. I want to be treated like a normal girl and want friends who want to be friends with me for who I am, not for who I know.
So yeah, I think I’ve caught you up on everything. I’m nervous about starting high school but everyone has faith in me so I’m pretty sure I’ll survive. I wonder what’ll happen tomorrow….

Okay guys, first update of the weekend! Enjoy!
Chapter 1
“JOE!! GET UP!!” Nick Jonas yelled at the top of his lungs, pounding his brother with his own pillow. Joe just rolled over towards the wall and continued snoring. Nick glared fiercely at his older brother. Sometimes it was completely IMPOSSIBLE to get Joe up in the morning. “UGGHHH, JOEE!!!! WE HAVE TO GO MEET KAYLEE BEFORE SHE GOES TO SCHOOL!! We all promised her we would be there!!” Nick said, kicking Joe’s bed over and over again. Joe rolled over to face Nick with an innocently sleepy look. “Huuhh? Whaa happenn?” Joe mumbled yawning. “Joe, get out of bed! It’s already six-thirty and we have to meet Kaylee at seven!” Nick yelled, trying to drag him to the bathroom. Joe shook him off grouchily. “Get off me, I know my way to the bathroom,” he grumbled, glaring at Nick while walking towards the bathroom. At that exact moment as he turned around, Joe walked straight into the wall. “I meant to do that,” Joe said, face still slammed against the wall. Nick bit his lip trying to sustain his laughter. He knew he would really get it if he laughed. As Joe stepped into the shower, Nick’s other older brother, Kevin, stepped out of the kitchen with a glass of orange juice. As they heard the water turn on, Kevin stared at the bathroom door with disbelief. “You mean he just got in there?” Kevin said skeptically. Nick rolled his eyes and nodded. Kevin shook his head. “Unbelievable,” he said heading back into the kitchen. Nick headed back into his room. He had to cool off before he pounded Joe for waking up so late. He sat down in bed and texted Kaylee.
“SRY KAY. WE’LL BE THERE IN A FEW. JOE JUST GOT UP. HE’S SHOWERING NOW.”
Within about a minute, he received a text back.
“ITS OK. C U L8R. <33 U”
Nick smiled. Kaylee always had those small ways of calming him down. As soon as Nick closed his phone, he heard the shower shut off and the blow dryer turn on. It surprised him that Joe actually decided to do his hair nicely today. Not even Kevin had straightened his hair. All they were going to do was go to Kaylee’s house and hang out with her before she left for school. Nick had offered to get Lenny, one of our security guards to drive her but she declined saying she didn’t want to attract too much attention and she’d rather take the bus. That was one of the many things Nick admired about her. She really didn’t want any special treatment from anyone. Even though she had a famous boyfriend, she loved him for him, and not the perks of his fame. Although many girls would have loved to brag to all of her classmates that their boyfriend was a Jonas Brother, Kaylee preferred to keep her private life just the way it was supposed to be; private. Within ten minutes, Nick heard the bathroom door open and Joe stepped out looking brand new. “Okay you got me out of bed early, so let’s go before I change my mind,” Joe said teasingly. So Joe, Kevin, and Nick walked out the door and straight into their private car. There weren’t any crazy fans in front of their building considering that they just moved here last week. They were trying to keep their sudden move on the down low for as long as possible. But when you were famous, things tended to leak out pretty quickly; it was only a matter of time before word got out. Within five minutes, they were in front of Kaylee’s building. They stepped out the car and into the building. As Nick went to press the button for the elevator, he heard a loud squeal. “OH MY GOODDDD!!! IT’S THE JONAS BROTHERS!!” a girl’s voice screeched loudly. All boys flinched. You see? Secrets couldn’t be kept for long….
“Uh-oh, are they caught red handed? Will their secret be revealed? And just who is that girl? Find out in the next chapter of Now is My Time!”

Hey people! I'm here with an update! A little late, but an update nonetheless, lol. And guess who I met today? I MET T-SQUAD!!! I don't have time to tell you guys the details because I have to get off now, but I will say that they are really nice. So here is the update! Enjoy!
Chapter 2
The boys slowly turned around. They couldn’t believe that they were caught already! But they might as well meet the girl. They couldn’t be rude. When the boys saw the face of their pursuer, they smiled and laughed. “Gotcha!” Kaylee said with a wide smile on her face. “I so totally poned you guys!” “Pfft, puh-lease Kaylee,” Joe said rolling his eyes. “We totally knew it was you.” The other boys nodded casually in agreement, wiping the embarrassment off their face. “Riigghht,” Kaylee said rolling her eyes. She’d let them get away with their silly little acts this time. She went to hug all of them and kissed Nick. “I thought we were going up to your apartment,” Nick asked Kaylee, holding her in his arms. “I wanted to surprise you all,” Kaylee said smiling. “Plus, my mom was taking a gazillion and one pictures of me in my uniform. I didn’t want you guys to get stuck taking pictures with me.” Kevin chuckled. “It’s okay, we’re used to it by now,” he said brushing it off lightly. “So are you nervous?” Kaylee bit her lip and her eyes became clouded over with worry. “I’ll take that as a yes,” Nick said holding her tightly. “You’ll do fine. We all have so much faith in you. You are going to make tons of friends, you are going to pass all of those classes, and you are going to do it with a smile on your face.” Joe ran over to Kaylee. “Yeah so be happpyyyy!!” he said stretching Kaylee’s cheeks to make her smile. Kaylee started laughing on the spot as she peeled Joe’s hands off of her face. “Thanks guys,” she said modestly. “I guess it’s just first time jitters.” They all nodded. “You know what we should do?” Kevin asked. “Before each show, we all get together and say a prayer. Do you mind Kay?” “Of course not! I would love that!” Kaylee said. They all took each other’s hands and bowed their heads, waiting for Kevin to lead them. He bowed his head and began,
“Father God, we ask you to bless Kaylee as she goes off today for her first day of high school. May you open her mind to new knowledge and open her heart to new friends. We thank you Lord once again that we have had the good fortune to have met Kaylee. We don’t know what we would have done if you hadn’t blessed us with such a wonderful friend. In your, name Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.”
“Amen,” they all replied. Kaylee gave Kevin a big hug. “Thanks Kev. You’re like the big brother that I’ve never had. I’m the one that was blessed to meet you guys,” she said humbly. The boys smiled and hugged her back. She checked her watch on impulse. It was already seven-fifteen. “Guys, I should really be going now. I don’t want to be late on my first day,” Kaylee said, giving sort of a half-smile. The nerves were coming back and it showed all over her face. At that moment, Nick cupped her face in his hands and kissed her fully on the lips. He then looked in her eyes. “You’ll do absolutely fine. Trust me,” he said calmly. Kaylee looked in his eyes and nodded. She did trust him. More than she had ever trusted anyone before.
Kaylee’s P.O.V.
As I climbed on the bus and took a seat, I waved back to the boys through the window. The bus started to move and I closed my eyes. I had to calm down. I had to trust the boys and my parents and know that everything was going to work out for the best. I wasn’t the greatest at dealing with change. I had been in the same school for my whole life so this was a big adjustment for me. I took my iPod out of my bag and turned it to Nick’s unreleased album. I put on the original version of “Time for me to Fly”. It was my all time favorite song of his. It really calmed me down and inspired me when I needed it. I closed my eyes and slowly sank into the music.
