I present you, Chapter 3!
Chapter 3 [Walking Towards the Light]
Nick *POV*
I woke up in my bunk as the light of the early morning sun was creeping into the tour bus. I grumbled then put my head back in the pillow. Just then my phone buzzed. I just got a text message. I looked at it and decided that I would just get up. I dragged my exhausted legs to the mini kitchen and looked around for something tasty to eat. Finally, I got a bowl and poured some Cheerios into it. All the sudden, my mom came in.
“You cannot be that tired young man.” She told me.
“Yes I can.” I mumbled back.
“You have a concert today,” She paused. “Don’t tell me you forgot already!”
“Yah, I sort of did.”
9 hours later
Ella *POV*
I looked at myself in the ancient rusted mirror. What should I wear? I opened the closet and still saw my Aunt’s clothes. I started to tear up. I just want someone to come look after me. Maybe even a foster parent. That wasn’t important right now. What was important was that Anna would be here any minute and I still haven’t figured out what to wear. Finally I picked out a cute Hollister top and a pair of skinny jeans that Anna both got me for my birthday. I put on some natural makeup and right when I was finished, the doorbell rung.
“Hey Anna!” I exclaimed when I answered the door. She was dressed up in all Jonas Brothers stuff. No surprise there.
“Ready to go?” She asked.
“Ready.” I replied.
Her mom drove us all the way to the venue. Then we could see the mobs of teenage girls already there. We swarmed in and out. Eventually, we got to where they would be performing. We found our way to our seats in which seemed like an eternity! I had to admit, these where pretty good seats.
“OMJ! This is going to be exactly where they’re performing!” Anna said while she was jumping up and down elated.
“Yup.” I answered her not nearly as excited. Though, I did find myself getting a little eager to see them get on stage.
Finally, the stage dimmed and a massive amount of screams where so loud that it sounded like a tornado coming right at you. No one could block it out. Three boys hit the stage and the screams took it to another level. Wow. How can they stand that every day? They came out singing Burnin’ Up with flames bursting out from the stage. I had to admit, they weren’t bad at all! In fact, I sort of seemed to enjoy them.
“Wasn’t that amazing?” Anna asked me after the concert.
“Actually, it kind of was.” I replied.
“Now off to the meet and greet!” She exclaimed.
“So we are actually going to meet them?”
“Yup!” She answered.
We got to the place where the meet and greet was. We were not that far from the front of the line. I could see the Jonas Brothers right in front of me signing autographs and giving hugs. I couldn’t help but notice Nick looking at me often. It was obvious to. He would just glance up and look in my eyes and I would look in his. What I found there is a feeling I havn’t felt in 10 years….
Love.
