"You know, the Jonas Brothers will never like you. You're not good enough! Gosh! And you don't know them you freak! Get over it. And Kevin checked me out so I actually have a chance. Unlike you. Haha!" My sister, Cassie said. I started tearing up. "Aw look she's crying poor baby!" Cassie said with her clones. One of my worst enemies, Anissa, was in that crew. I ran up to my room and cried. I hugged my knees and found my phone. I called my best friend, Aaryn. "Hello?" She said. "Aaryn, can I come over to your house?" I said, still crying. "Lauren! Yes! Whats wrong!" Aaryn said. "I just can't be at my house right now," I said. "Okay. You can come right now," Aaryn said. I got my purse and ran outside and to Aaryn's house. She opened the door and we went up to her room. "Are you okay?" Aaryn said. "No. Cassie is my sister and her goal is to make my life a living you know what!" I said. I didnt like to say h-e double hockey stick. "I know. I'm sorry. What did she say?" Aaryn said. "That Nick will never like me and I'm not good enough," I wispered. "WHAT? THAT GIRL IS BLIND! Because there's more to you then looks unlike her and her Paris-Hilton-Miley-Cyrus-Wannabe club," Aaryn said. I laughed. "Paris Hilton?" I said laughing. "Hey! You smiled!" Aaryn said. I laughed. "Come on, we're gonna look at some pictures of JB to make you feel better!" Aaryn said. I couldn't say no to that. We drooled over the rolling stones cover. And we read the latest stuff that was going on in the boys lifes. "Nick Jonas daiting Selena Gomez," Aaryn said. "If they do date, I'm okay with that. She's real and not letting fame go to her head," I said. "Same with Demi," Aaryn said. "Yeah. I love her song Forget and Get Back!" I said. "Me too!" Aaryn said. We burst out singing Video Girl as it played. "That's Cassie and her copycat crew!" I said. Aaryn laughed. My cell rang. "Hello? Hey Dad. I do? Okay. Love you too. Bye," I said. "What?" Aaryn said. "I have to go home," I said. "Lauren, stay strong. Just ignore her," Aaryn said. "Okay. Love ya!" I said. "Love ya too Ren!" Aaryn said. I walked home. We ate dinner and after, Cassie dragged me upstairs. "What?" I said standing up. "Do you think Kevin will like me in this dress?" Cassie said. She was wearing a super short yellow sequiensy dress that made her look like the opposite of a girl the Jonas Brothers would like. "Absouloutly! And wear tons of makeup! They love it when girls do that!" I said. She bought it. I went into my room and texted Aaryn. She laughed. She called me. "Why did she say she had to look good for Kevin?" Aaryn said. "I don't know. I'm gonna ask my parents. Talk to you later. Bye," I said. I hung up my phone. I fell asleep. The next day, I woke up and went downstairs to talk to my mom and dad. "Hey mom, hey dad!" I said. "Hey," My mom said. "So, why was Cassie talking about Kevin and looking good?" I said. They both looked at each other. "Well, we gave your sister tickets to the show. For her and her friends. We agreed this is a good punishment for going out past your curfew," My dad said. "But, I didn't do that! Cassie lied about that!" I said. "No buts. It's been decided," My parents said. My eyes welled up with tears and I ran out the door. It was almost 12 and I ran to the park. I sat on a bench and cried. I heard footsteps. "Excuse me," A guy said. He sounded about my age. I looked up. I saw a tall guy wearing faded skinny jeans, a vintage rolling stones tshir, some ed hardy shoes, sunglasses and a frank sinatra hat. He had good style. "I'm not really supposed to talk to strangers," I said. "I'm Nick," The guy said. "I'm Lauren," I said. "See, we're not strangers anymore," He said. I laughed. "I know it's kinda weird to tell a guy you just met why you're crying but I'm here to listen. And I hate to see girls cry," He said. I told him everything. "Well, I have a sister, her name's Cassie. She's a year older than me and hates me. I don't know why. Anyways she's turned my whole grade against me. So now I only have one true friend. Her name's Aaryn. I'm pretty much a dork. And now my sister said that a Jonas brother or any guy would never like me because I'm not pretty enough. And now she said I stayed out past my curfew when I didn't and she gets to go to a Jonas Brothers concert, front row, while I stay at home doing nothing. And she's not even a true fan. So I'm really bumbed and I know it's stupid of me to cry, but I am," I said. I teared up. "Wow," He said. "I know. I'm sorry I'm probually bringing you down," I said. "No, I just feel bad that you couldn't go to the show," Nick said. "Me too. I don't know why they hate me so much," I said. Nick put his arm around me. "It's okay. But I think I have to tell you something because you've been honest with me," Nick said. "What? Do you hate me?" I said. "No. I couldn't hate you," He said. He took off his glasses and hat and revieled a dogtag that was hidden before in his shirt. He smiled. "Hi," He said. "Your Nick Jonas?" I said. "Yeah," He said. "You weren't lying when you said you were down to earth," I said. "Thats what I've been trying to tell people," Nick said. I smiled. "You seem diffrent," Nick said. I laughed. "Good diffrent though," Nick said. "Yeah diffrent. That's what got me hated by most of my whole class," I said. Nick hugged me. "I like diffrent," Nick said. A big smile spread across my face. I got a call. "Hello? I do. Okay, bye," I said. "I have to go," I said. "What?" Nick said. "I'm sorry!" I said. I tripped and my shoe fell off. I kept running. I got home. "Hi," I said. "Hey loser, how do I look?" Cassie said. "Great," I said. I ran up to my room and cried. I had talked to Nick, he said he liked me, and now I'm never gonna see him again. This was the worst day ever. A few days later, I saw that the Jonas Brothers had a new video up. I clicked on it. Right as it started to play, Aaryn called. I paused the video. "Hello?" I said. "Lauren, I think you better watch the video that JB just posted," She said. "I am. What's so important about it?" I said. "Just watch it. You won't regret it," Aaryn said. I watched it. "Hey guys it's Nick. The other day I met this amazing girl who liked me for me. So if your watching this, you left your shoe behind so please come here. To make sure it's you, you'll just need to try on the shoe. Come to Central Park, where we met. Thank you," Nick said. My mouth dropped. "Aaryn, do you think it's me?" I said. "Yes!" She said. "But, I can't go to Central Park!" I said. "Yes you can! And I'm coming with you!" Aaryn said. Cassie overheard and was furious. She didn't get to meet Kevin so me meeting Nick and him liking me wasn't good news for her. And I'd become more popular than her if I did get to be with Nick. I grabbed my stuff and tried to walk out but Cassie stopped me. She got the keys to my car and took it. I looked at Aaryn and we ran. Cassie and her clones tried on the shoe. "Dude, I don't think she's comming," Kevin said. I walked and Nick's eyes brightened up. I looked over at him. "That's her," Nick said. "See, I knew she would," Joe said, proud of his idea to make the youtube video. Nick walked over to me and sat me down on a picnic table. "May I?" He asked, refering to sliping the shoe on my foot. I nodded and took off my shoe. He slipped it on. "Perfect fit," Nick said. I smiled. He lifted me off of the table. "I haven't been able to get you off of my mind. Lauren, you stole my heart. And I never thought about love at first sight, but now I know it exists. Lauren, I don't know if this will scare you off but I have to say this. I think I love you," Nick said. "I think I love you too," I said, teary-eyed. Nick grabbed my face and kissed me with passion. It was just like a scene out of a movie. "You know, you're not my Cinderella, you're my Dorkerella," Nick said. I laughed and kissed him again. Cassie was mad and tripped and fell into the lake. "Then what happened?" My daughter, Sophia Grace Jonas, said. "Yeah mommy, don't stop their! I want to know how it ends!" My other 8 year old daughter Crystal Madison Jonas said. "Well, your father and I dated until we were 21. Then, your daddy proposed and we got married on valentines day. 1 year later, we had you Sophia. Then, 3 years later, we had you Crystal," I said. Nick came up behind me and kissed me on the cheek. "I like that story!" Sophia said. "Me too!" Crystal said. "Me three!" Nick said. The girls giggled. "Daddy, you were there!" Sophia said. "I know, but I still love it!" Nick said. "Well, you girls should be going to sleep. Goodnight. We love you!" I said. "Love you mommy, love you daddy," The girls said in unison. Me and Nick went to our room and got into bed. I snuggled up to Nick and burried my head into his chest. I could hear his heart beat and his chest move up and down as he inhaled and exhaled. "You know, you'll always be my Dorkerella," Nick said. "And you'll always be my prince," I said. Nick kissed me with as much passion as the kiss we shared 18 years ago.
