"It's a call I'll never get…" Nick sang the last line of the song as the crowd roared.
"Thank you Los Angeles!" Joe yelled into the microphone
The three brothers went to the front of the stage and did their whole finishing up the concert routine. And, to the crowd's misfortune, they exited the stage.
"Whoo," Joe sighed, "tonight was amazing…and now we have the meet and greet. We have amazing fans guys."
Kevin and Nick nodded in agreement as Nick sipped his water and Kevin adjusted his hat.
"Oh and Nick," Joe added, "according to one sign out there you are gorgeous and she is the future Mrs. Nick Jonas."
They both laughed. All three of them loved their fans dedication and support. But I mean come on who wouldn't laugh at that.
"Ok, I hate to break up your party, but we have like 1000 fans out there waiting to hug us and make videos for youtube…so get moving." Kevin said motioning for his brothers to follow.
They walked back outside and around the stage to where the meet and greet was being held. There was a table set up for them to sign autographs and a sea of around 2000 people.
"Let the autographs begin!" Joe yelled at the top of his lungs.
The next 30 seconds following that consisted of a bunch of screaming and 'I love you's'. The signed everything ranging from body parts to guitars to posters to cd. After about half an hour of meet and greet they had most likely made about 15 "Welcome to (insert name here)'s myspace"
"Hey Joe," Nick said leaning over to his brother, "look over there."
Under the table Nick pointed to where a girl was standing about 20 yards from where they were at the table.
"Whoa…"Joe whispered as he looked at the girl
She seemed excited but not too obsessively excited. She didn't seem like the type of girl who would ask 'Will you marry me' or say 'I'm absolutely in love with you'. She seemed like the type of girl he could have a conversation with. She was a blonde…Joe loved that in a girl. She was flat out gorgeous. Joe tried to stop thinking about her as he signed the next fan's cd case. He tried to focus but found himself staring back over to where she was standing. What hold does she have one me? He thought to himself.
"Boys," Mr. Jonas said, "time to rap it up we gotta get going to the hotel we're leaving early tomorrow."
"Dad?" Joe said as he pulled him aside, "there's this one girl who I gotta meet dad. She's just about 10 feet down the line ok. A few more? Please?"
Mr. Jonas thought about it for a second "Only until that girl. Then you pack it up ok. We have got to get to the lodge on time tomorrow. This means…" Joe knew dreaded words were coming, "you won't have time to do your hair."
Joe gasped but agreed and took his place back at the table. The continued to sign autographs…three more people….two more people…1 more person…the girl.
"Hey" they all said smiling
"Hey guys. Great concert, by far the best thing I have EVER seen." She smiled as she hugged Nick and Kevin.
"Thank you…we try" Joe chuckled and gave her a hug.
He leaned over to Kevin "Get everybody else out of here…I wanna talk to her ok?"
Kevin nodded and then he and Nick got up from the table getting everyone out of the area.
"So….what's your name?" Joe asked giving her a chair
"My name's Ashley." She took the chair smiling. Wow she thought I'm sitting with the hottest guy alive and he's showing interest ok Ashley breathe.
"It's very nice to meet you Ashley. I saw you down the line and I had to meet you. There's something about you…it's like I've known you my whole life."
"That's really sweet. I mean I feel like I've known you forever too…" her voice trailed off
"Well then, let's get to know each other. We're going to a lodge tomorrow and if you want to come with us on our tour…we have an extra bed…and-"
"Joe I'd love to go but I don’t think my parents would let me-"
"It's already taken care of. My dad talked to your Dad while he was waiting over there for you"
There was sudden excitement in her voice "You mean I get to go with you…I mean you guys."
"Yeah, it's gonna be a lot of fun. But for now I gotta go back to the hotel. And we'll swing by your house at 6 am tomorrow ok. Your Dad gave us the address. Have a goodnight Ashley." He said as he gave her a kiss on the cheek.
She felt herself blushing "Goodnight Joe." They walked out of the room, his arm around her in a friendly way. They soon departed with just a smile
"6 am…"Joe said as he walked away
"Yes sir." Ashley said going towards the car
