To Start A Revolution

Summary: Being a popular cheerleader isn’t what it’s all cracked up to be- with the Jonas Brothers going to her school and hanging out with the unpopulars, can they crack the school clique code and start a new revolution?

I’m starting to thing that this whole ‘cheerleading’ thing isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. I used to be in the skater group, just a happy little girl, learning new tricks and beating Jenny on the half pipe- but then I moved to Wyckoff. I decided to start a new style, and became a cheerleader after one of the populars- Lena- scouted me during PE.

Now I’m stuck in white and green- sorry Lena- Pearl and Emerald- skirts and tank-tops, doing cheesy choreography and stunts that half of the cheerleaders can’t do. I guess you could say I’m on the bottom of the pyramid- they don’t nessecarily want me on the team anymore, but they don’t want another skater or unpopular either- they want to keep control of the school.

I still hang out with the ‘nerds’, ‘skaters’, ‘artists’, and ‘outcastes’ but many of them dislike me merely for my social status.

“But Moooooooommmmm…” I whined. I don’t mean to sound whiny- well in this case I do- but it just comes out that way. Maybe it’s the large amounts of vibrations this bus gives off when it’s moving.

“It’s already planned, Nick. No going back, okay? Besides, I’m sure you’ll be popular.” I don’t know why mom wants Joe and I to go to high school- what’s the point? Obviously it won’t be a ‘normal’ teenage experience, because we’re famous. SO what’s the point?

“But that’s the problem….” I mumbled. I always seemed to add something in a mumble when I talk- which may be why I’m labeled as the ‘quiet’ one.

“What was that?”

“Nothing.”

I rubbed my head, ruffling my now short(ish) hair. I just had it cut yesterday- maybe people won’t notice it as much when we’re at school that way.

Dear lord, my life is going to be a like living in a elephant’s stomach.

….Don’t ask.

This is just an introduction, so no worries! Next chapter will be longer. Sorry it’s so short!
