Just in case you missed the audition’s announcement.
Hey! Thanks to all of you who auditioned, you all got SOME part, but I couldn’t give you all the parts you wanted. This does not make me mean. Hopefully. And if I use some phrases in a different language, the definitions will be at the bottom. Mostly Lithuanian because I was born there and Kalbų niekad nemokėsi per daug. ^^. Heh. For those of you that don’t speak Lithuanian, you will find out at the end. Muahaha.
-Kay’s POV
I woke up and smiled, as I always did. I wigged my toes beneath the warm, cozy fleece blanket and stood up too fast, making myself wobble and sit back down as my canine companion padded across the room to my feet, nuzzling her cold nose against my bare shin.
“Roxy, move.” I giggled, standing up and making my way through the doorway to my kitchen. I patted my leg and whistled, signaling Roxy to come and get her breakfast. I rummaged around in the organized drawer for a minute- poking my hand with various sharp objects and finally pulled out a can opener, and began to open the can, making a grinding noise.
I gave her her food, and then walked over to the refrigerator to get my own food. I turned on the radio as the voice of Joe Jonas came over the radio, and I danced a bit as I ate my eggs at the counter. “So I wait for her to come….” I sang into my fork, chewing on my last bit of eggs.
As the song ended, I dumped my dish into the sink and ran hot water over my calloused but sensitive hands. I hummed along to another familiar tune as I washed the dish and placed it into the counter next to it, and turned the water off.
The insistent whining and nipping of Roxy told me she needed to go outside, so I picked up her harness and fastened it with skilled and practiced hands.
“Let’s go out, Rox.” I told her happily, and she jumped up onto the door as I opened it and out into the hallway of my apartment.

Joe’s POV
I glared at Kevin as I sat up in my bunk, hitting my head along the way.
The idiot was just smiling at me, unaware of his coming death- to be executed by me- for dumping water on me. I got up banging my head again, and chased him out of the area, and into the small diner we were parked outside of, only clad in my pants that I slept in.
“Get back here!”
“Joe, Food.” Sang my mother, and I quickly veered away from the relived Kevin and sat down at the worn old booth covered in duct tape and stuffed some waiting eggs into my mouth.
A Familiar upbeat tune came on the radio, only to make Kevin and Nick hum along.
Still bitter about the water incident, I only tapped my foot subtly.

-Kay’s POV
I waked along the not-so- crowded streets, saying a cheerful hello to those I knew and waving in the general direction of random friendly people. My long hair blew in the breeze, and I laughed.
Roxy led me to her favorite place, stopping at the traffic intersections, and coming to a stop at a gate.
“Hey, Kay!” A friendly voice shouted, and jerked me from my half-awake state.
“Emily!” I shouted, and un-clipped Roxy’s leash.
I stumbled over to who I thought was Emily, and grabbed her arm then felt her face.
It was Not Emily.
“Err- sorry. Is… is this Julia?”
The person laughed, and I was sure it was Julia.
“Heyyyy, girlie.”
“Why did you let Roxy go before you sat down? You most likely would have tripped, had I not caught you.”
That was Julia for you. Caring.
Emily then came over, and I gave her a hug too.
“Here- there’s a new bench over here-“
“Dude, I can get there on my own.”
I said proudly. When I set my mind on something, nothing stops me. I whipped out my retractable cane (Awesome, I must say.) and walked briskly over to the bench, only tripping once, over a fat dog that could only be Moofin.
Yes, Moofin. I knew all of the dogs at this park. Moofin had a tendency to sniff people’s butts.
I sat down, and rubbed my sore eyes, even though I hadn’t used them.
I felt my friends sit beside me, and I felt happy in this thing called my life.
Joe’s POV
I ran down the streets of the small town, glad there were not many people out at the ungodly hour of 5:30. Specifically teenage girls. Sometimes, I hated being famous.
As I rounded a corner, I came face to face with several teenage girls who stood with wide eyes and trembling fingers hovering over their cell-phones.
“Oh my JONAS! It’s a…. JONAS!” Numerous girls screamed, save a few, and chased me down the street. I pretended that I didn’t hear them, and ran faster down a large hill.
As I was running, I ran into a person and fell to the ground with an audible “OOMPH!” From the person I ran into. I realized it was a girl, and she had long brown hair, and the most gorgeous hazy eyes I’ve ever seen.
But now was not the time to be crushing.
The only thoughts running through my mind were,
‘ohcrapi’mbeingchasedbygirsandI’mgoingtodie.ohcrapI’mbeingchasedbygirsand-‘ Have fun deciphering that.
Sooo- comment, rate, appreciate! I want to know your thoughts! And opinions!
Good? Bad? Ugly? Too chewy?
And if you can’t tell, yes, Kay is blind. Sorry. Well- no I’m not.
Oh, and Kalbų niekad nemokėsi per daug basically means because one language isn’t enough.

| Sorry! I'm posting later today- I was going to WallaWalla when my friend's car broke down. In the desert. While we were waiting for the tow truck (9 friggin hours!) We had a picnic, and ran away from a SNAKE. It was awesome. That and some people stopped and gave us water. They were nice. |

Hey! I guess I lied. I’m updating now, though. I got lost on the road of life.

As I was running, I ran into a person and fell to the ground with an audible “OOMPH!” From the person I ran into. I realized it was a girl, and she had long brown hair, and the most gorgeous hazy eyes I’ve ever seen.

“Sorry!” The girl said, running her hands across the ground as if she were looking for something.
I normally would not yell, but I could hear the screaming and pounding of feet as the girls neared, the noise scaring several dogs.
Watch where you're going!" I shouted, not angry at her, but more at the fact that I was being chased by fan girls and she was slowing me down.
Her eyes simply passed by me without focusing on me and giggled as her dog licked her face eagerly as if to ask if she were alright. "Sorry." she said again, scratching he head and petting her dog.
“Whoah,” She mumbled, “What’s the screaming about?” Did she seriously not know?
“Fan girls,” I explained. “I’m somewhat…. Popular.”
Surprisingly, she laughed.
“Are they wearing tight clothes, and expensive shoes?” I looked, and her descriptions matched most.
“Err- yeah…”
She smiled even more, and grunted signaling that she’d heard me.
“… SIC E’m, ROXY!” She shouted, and the black white and gray speckled dog bared it’s teeth, stuck up it’s fur and growled menacingly while running up to the gate.
“That’s one obedient dog.” I said, staring at the dog.
“Well he has to be.” She grinned. A moment later, she found what she was feeling for on the ground.
She picked up a white cane with red at the pointed tip.
I finally realized it- I knocked down a blind girl. And told her to watch where she’s going.
“Oh….Crap. I’m sosososo sorry- I-“ She cut me off as one of her friends picked her up.
“I don’t want apologies. It’s ok, you didn’t know. It’s fine.”
She said in the quiet voice she’s used before.
After the last of the girls cleared off, the dog trotted over happile as if nothing had happened. Several dogs waddled over, and began to sniff my shoes, legs, and general lower body.
A pudgy dog walked over and nudged the girl’s rear.
“Moofin!” she squealed.
“so- uh- what’s your name?...”
I asked hesitantly.
“I’m Kaylee.”
“I’m Joseph. But you can call me Joe.”
“Than you can call me Kay.” She said, smiling that crooked grin she had before.
She looked thoughtful for a moment, before snapping her fingers and saying, “You’re a Jonas!”
“No duh.” A girl walked over, and shook her head of dark brown hair and squinted multi- colored eyes.
“What ARE you doing in a small town?”
“Van repairs. And you are?..”
“Emily. Nice to meet you. Do you like hockey?”
“What?”
She shook her head.
“Random question. My team plays later today, and I need to go to practice- see ya!”
She walked off quickly, plowing therough the field of dogs as if they weren’t there.
“Hi! I’m Julia!” A girl with an angular face said, bouncing up and down on her heels. She was wearing a baseball cap with the team name “Beavers” on it.
“Right. Well- I should be going, err- not that I don’t want to hang out or anything, bu Kevin said he needs help with—stuff. Bye.”
I hurried off, like the chicken I am. Why do pretty girls intimidate me?
Because they’re pretty. Duh.
Not to mention they have dogs that enjoy violating my personal space.
---------Kay’s POV------------
“……That was…. Odd….”
I said, shoving Moofin away for a third time.
“Why didn’t you get his number??”
Julia asked me quickly, hopping up and down again, from what I could feel, while tugging on my arm.
“I don’t think I would enjoy calling a person I hardly know.” I said.
“He’s Joe JONAS! You listen to his music! You had a chance to get to know him!”
“Or I could have sold it on E-bay. Moofin, go home!”
“That too.”
“WE- “ I said, pointing to her, then me, “Have got to get to work. Come on.” I pulled on her arm, then on Roxy’s leash. We walked down the street, then over to the hospital where we briefly greeted Jennilyn at the door before signing in (Jennilyn doing it for me) and I walked to my first room that I always visited, feeling the braille.
“Hey, Ben! How’s the chemo treating you?” I asked, as Roxy whined and jumped on the bed.
“Whoah, Roxy down. DOWN.” I said, patting the neat bed. I worked in the hospital cheering up patients with help from Roxy. I felt bad about getting paid for it, but the hospital insisted they help me.
“Ben?” I asked, sitting down on the edge of the bed before I realized it was empty.
“They took him this morning.” A soft broken voice said from the doorway that I recognized as his little sister.
So. How was it? A bit short. And late. But please don’t hurt me. *hides behind desk*
