Just an idea a friend kinda gave to me, i hope you like it. I know, I have other unifinished fics...but I'll finish them eventually...
Prologue. Remember the times when you thought your parents as well as yourself were invincible, when you thought there were monsters under your bed and the boogeyman resided in your closet? You were probably around the ages of five to nine. But unlike most nine year olds she knew, Camden faced tragic news. She lost her mother to Small Cell Cancer. It spread fast and by the time they found it, it was too late. At the time, it didn’t hit Camden as hard as anyone had expected it to. She knew what had happened, but she only understood the subject to a certain extent. Camden had this thing where she didn’t like to show a certain emotion in fear that someone would judge her. And in this case, it was showing she was more upset than she showed. So everyone just assumed that she was fine. But deep down, the subject was slowly eating her away. And no one knew about it. Not her clueless father or her best friend, Audrina, both were supposed to know everything about her, but they didn’t. Even now, at the age of fifteen, Camden still didn’t understand fully. She had only Audrina she could talk to outside of the same family members asking the same question over and over. Will Camden soon find someone she could talk to? Even if that person didn’t exactly know what she was going through? Maybe, it’ll be sooner she has ever dreamed of.

Chapter One. “Camden?” Audrina peeked her head into the slightly cracked door before entering. “Yeah?” Camden replied weakly and distractedly. Audrina walked over to her friend, a sketch pad lay in front of Camden along with colored pencils that varied in color. She was working on a sketch of her backyard, it included everything from her trampoline to her pool. With the sunset as the background. “You got plans this weekend?” Audrina kept her eyes fixed on Camden’s sketch rather than Camden herself. “Not that I know of.” Camden replied simply. “I have the perfect fix.” Audrina smiled. Camden finally looked up. “Go on…” Audrina looked like she was going to burst with excitement at any given moment. “So, I have these friends, they’re coming to town for some downtime. Starting this Friday.” Downtime? Did these ‘friends’ work too much or something? Camden wondered to herself. Oh, Camden, if you only knew who Audrina’s friends were, then you’d understand why they needed downtime.
