K2 one-shot.
Spencer's POV.
"You're just jealous because I like him more than you!" I retorted.
I had never felt this way towards him before. We always got along. I guess.. today just wasn't our day. He looked at me shocked and thought of something to say.
"You think I'm jealous of.. of.. that?" he shouted. "I don't even care if you love him!" he shouted back.
Ouch. That hurt. Why did K2 always get the upper hand? Was it because he was older than me? We were really close. And I mean, really close. Like brother and sister close. Exept he was the older one. Not me. He wasn't acting like an older brother. Was he?
"Fine! Then you won't mind if I storm out of here angrily and leave you" I suggested.
Kevin crossed his arms and turned his back on me.
"Nope. Go" he said simply.
I struggled to hold back the many tears in my blue eyes. Normally we would just make up real quick and not many of our fights lasted this long. That was because we rarely used to fight. I ran outside crying and slammed the door shut behind me. I would run. Far far away from my so called "brother". I would go to Max's house.
Max was my boyfriend. Sure, he did drugs and I admit that. He's been in jail three times. But something about him just made me love him even more and Kevin hated that. Kevin hated that his younger sister was dating a rebellious boy.
I hopped onto the subway and it took me to his house. Right now, he was out of jail. I wondered how long he could go without breaking the law. His words began to linger in my head.
"You've changed Spencer! Why do you love him?"
Have I really changed? I looked at what seemed like a seven year-old boy and a six year-old girl pplaying like they were brother and sister. The images suddenly made me reminisce on all the memories me and Kevin had together when we were younger. I wondered what had happened to that little sweet girl I knew then.
"Mommy!" the little girl complained tugging on her mother's pant leg. "Why is that lady staring at us?"
I blinked my eyes and returned to earth. I looked out the window at the dark night. The bus stopped and I got out. As I faced the familiar house I slowly walked up the porch stairs and knocked on the door. A few minutes later the door opened and Max was only wearing his jeans. His hair was a mess and he was panting lightly.
"Spence? What are you-?" he asked.
I couldn't hear him. My instincts instantly told me that he was with another woman. More tears began to well in my eyes.
"What's wrong?" he asked suddenly worried.
I felt my tears quickly turn to anger.
"Don't play Mr. Innocent with me! You know exactly what's wrong with me!"
I stormed past him into the house and up to the woman. She was in her clothes still.
"Be careful who you're dating. This dude's a jerk" I warned before storming up to the door.
I glared at him angrily before walking out and slamming the door. Looks like Kevin was right. Max was a jerk. A cheating jerk. My hands were shaking as I slowly reached in my pocket and pulled out my cell. I scrolled through my contacts quickly finding his name and pressed the key.
Kevin's POV.
My phone rang as I looked at the caller ID. It was Spencer.
Ugh. What does she want now? I thought as I answered it. I was still angry.
"Kev?' she asked her voice non stable. "You were right and I'm sorry" she apologized. "Can you take me home?"
I grunted then sighed sympathetically.
"Alright. Meet me at the station"
I hung up and grabbed my car keys. I walked outside and closed the dor behind me before getting into the car.

I stood there, my back against the wall as I waited for her. A few minutes later I found her. She stopped and stared at me with big apologetic eyes and then ran up to me. From then on, my body wasn't controlling me. My arms opened as she ran into them with such hard force it nearly knocked the breath out of me. She began crying.
"Kevin. You were right. You're always right" she said.
I held her face in my strong and firm hands and closed my eyes. My lips instantly knew where to move as they landed peacefully onto Spencer's.
Was this fate? Or was it just plain comforting her? I don't know, but I loved it anyway.
