Sorry it took me so long. I have been crazy busy with school and work.
Emily was sitting in her room playing Relient K’s Sadie Hawkins Dance While dancing around in her room. No one was home and when she was alone, she had a habit of dancing around in underwear and a t-shirt. She was wearing all white with a head band and black sunglasses. The was in her room upstairs when there was a knock at the door. She did not hear the knocking and kept dancing. She heard a slightly hard knock at her bedroom. She jumped and got on some pants and grabbed a bat. She opened the door not knowing who to expect. Just as she was about to swing the bat she came into contact with a set of brown eyes and dropped the bat as if on queue.
“Hey sorry, but no buddy answered and the door was unlocked.” The guy said.
“H-hey uh Yeah um what can I d-do for y-you N-N-Nick.” Emily said.
“Can we use your phone? Our van broke down and our phones all happen to be dead and a fan ran off with our phone chargers.” He said as Joe came up behind him.
“Actually I think dear Nick lost the chargers when Big Rob told him to put his stuff away.” Joe said laughing. Nick blushed.
“Anyway, Can we use your phone?” Nick asked.
“Y-Yeah, its i-in the k-k-kitchen.”
Emily followed them into the kitchen and watched Joe call the mechanic. Nick was looking around and looking at her refrigerator. Her report card was up on it as well as a few hockey pictures of a game she had recently gone to. Nick saw the report card and saw all the flying colors of grades she had. Once Joe had got off the phone he took a look at her grades as well. Joe had a grin playing on his lips.
“Look Nick, she is cute and smart.” Joe said patting his brother on the back.
“Joe.” Nick whined while blushing a bit.
Emily blushed as well. When she was around new people she got really shy. Most of her friends would say other wise, but when new people were around you would never know she was pretty Zany. Nick looked at Joe and asked what the mechanic. Joe said that the guy would be there the next morning. Joe then turned to Emily and asked where the nearest hotel was around here. She told him there was not one, but they could stay at her house because her parents were gone. They decided it was a good idea. Joe ran out to ask his mom and dad.
“So you like Hockey?” Nick asked unsure of what to say.
It started the conversation between them. She showed him the basement where his family could stay and before he went back up the stairs, he gave her a peck on the cheek and went to meet his family upstairs. Emily gave herself a pat on the back before heading up. Just as she almost made it up, She tripped over the stair and almost fell back. Luckily Nick turned around and caught her, but fell backwards and brought her on top of him. When she came to realization, She noticed her lips were on his. Both their eyes got huge and they shot up. Kevin said hi and they all went into the living room to hang out for the rest of the weekend.
