Chapter 7- The Beach Party and The Goodbye

"So, this is your last night" Nick said disapointed. "Yeah" I said. "We should do something special" Joe said. "Yeah" Kev agreed. "I have an idea!" Joe yelled. "Beach party" he said. "Sounds good" Kev said. We all agreed to have a beach party for me because I was going back home. I am so going to cry when I leave...

This party is so fun! I have been dancing with Joe and Nick constantly. I love it how Nick is jealous of when I dance with Joe. He is so sweet... later. Kevin is so attatched to his new gf Seana. Joe also couldn't take his eyes off of Rachel (don't tell anyone but he's asking her out tonight) Nick took me by the hand and guided me towards the ocean waves. We layed down in the sand together. "I love the ocean, it's so beautiful and graceful" I said. Nick nodded. "It is" Nick said. "Nick?" I asked. "Yeah" he said looking over at me. "How are we going to be together?" I asked while holding on to his hand. "I mean... the distance..." I said trailing off. "Do you really want us to be together?" he asked. I looked over at him and smiled. "Absolutely" I said. "Then I will do whatever possible to bring us closer even when we are far apart" he said. He rolled ontop of me and looked deep into my eyes. "I really care about you" he said with a loving look in his eyes. "I care about you too" I said. "Alot" I added. He leaned in towards me... cupped my face in his hands... bent down until our lips almost touched... Our noses brushed... and... my lips met his and I felt dizzy. I heard fireworks go off and my heart was dancing beneath me skin. I pushed closer into him and sighed. I think I'm really falling for him... then our lips broke apart. "Wow..." I said. "Yeah" Nick said. "That's what I was missing!?" I asked shocked. He laughed. I was in a daze. My head was pounding, my heart was racing and I felt like I couldn't breathe... I was in love... We left the beach giddy while holding hands.

My heart felt heavy like there was a pile of stones sitting in it. How can I ever say goodbye to him? we were at the airport and all of us had sad looks on our faces. "We'll write" Joe said. "And it's not like we'll never see you again, we'll come back and visit" Kev said trying to relieve the mood. Nick had the sadest look on his face. His lips in a frown and his eyes filled with despair. "I'll miss you" I said. Nick nodded. "I'll come back" Nick said. I smiled a heartfelt smile. "I promise" he added. Nick pulled a box out of his pocket. "To remember me..." Nick said while handing me the box. I took the box with a questioning look. I opened the lid and.... there was a beautiful necklace. My draw dropped and my heart jumped. It was a sterling silver chain with a dangling purple and silver star locket. It was beautiful... "It's so beautiful" I said gasping the words out. I think i'm going to cry... Nick blushed. "Thank you" I said. He nodded. "Now don't go off with other guys when i'm gone our I might get extremely jealous" Nick said while smiling. I laughed. "No, I won't" I said. There was a moments silence until the captain was calling all p*CENSORED*engers to board. "Goodbye" I said. "Goodbye" said Kev, Joe and Nick. I gave them all hugs but when I came to Nick I hesitated. After the hug he pulled me into a kiss. A very p*CENSORED*ionate kiss mixed with sorrow, grief and hope. "Bye" I said once again. I walked onto my plane and sat down at my *CENSORED*igned seat. I could see the guys outside... waving goodbye. Nick was smiling a re*CENSORED*uring smile and nodded at me. But I bet they diden't see the tears streaming down my face... but I was also smiling... because I knew that we would see each other again. : )
