Moonlit Path.____________

 Laney walked quietly down the path of the woods. Her mind silent as she moved through the mub with her bare feet. Her face was digrunted. Her nose wrinkling just a bit at the tip. Her eyes puffy and red from crying. Her face was halfway covered with mud, her flower brown skirt ripped in certain places. Her tank top barely hanging on to her small frame.

 Laney sniffed and hiccupped. She looked around again hoping to find some sign of hope. Her fears where answered with darkness. A wolf howled lightly in the back ground. Laney titled her head upwards as the ran began to pound down on her scalp. Her blonde locks instantly falling flat as the deliget mist hit it. She sighed as the luke warm water ran down, washing her face and arms.

 Her train of thought was broken as she saw a car riding up the rode. She lightly pinched her bare small fragile arm, asking her self the question that we all would ask.

 " Am I dreaming", Her small voice sounded breathless as it came out of her throat. She coffed. Not using her voice for days must have some sort of effect. She lightly lifted her arm out to the side making a hitch-hickers thumb with her small hands. She saw no sign of the car slowing. Without a second thought she stepped in the middle of the rode.

 The last thing she thout was, " Im getting out of this place....one way or another". The car's horn blared as it drove closer and closer to Laney's small body...............
