BUS STOP
Every morning, at nine o` clock, she would be there. Sitting alone at the bus stop across from Nick's house, and every morning he would peer out of the window just to see her. Even though he didn't know who she was, Nick knew that there was something about her that seperated her from everyone else. He couldn`t help but notice her glowing beauty. Nick was intrigued by her smooth brown hair, running down her back and the color of her porcealin skin. Sometimes, she would sit there with a notebook on her lap writing away. Nick was curious to what she was doing.
"Nicholas, just talk to her" Nick's brothers teased him, but everytime they did, he refused. He wanted to talk to her, everytime he saw her but he couldnt muster up the courage to do so. He would just admire from a far.
It was like that every morning, until one day she sat there, but her face wasn`t as vibrant as it usually was. Her eyes were swollen and her head was sunken. She didnt seem the same at all. That's when Nick finally decided he should do something. He grabbed is jacket on the coat hook and walked across the street.
"Hey" Nick spoke softly. The girl picked her head up and Nick's heart stopped when he saw the beauty of her eyes. Blue on the outter ring, green in the middle and brown around the pupil. It left him breathless. "Uh..um... I couldnt help but notice you looked upset, and I wanted to see if you were alright." He stuttered nervously and sat next to her.
"Um, I'm okay" The girl replied, with whimpers breaking out of each word. "Thanks"
"No, you`re not okay" Nick replied. "Something is wrong, and I know it. Please talk to me?"
"To be honest with you" The girl sniffed, raising her voice a bit more. "I don`t believe in talking to strangers...especially about person problems. Im sorry."
"Okay, well I`m Nicholas Jerry Jonas, but people call me Nick. I love writing music and preforming." Nick started introducing himself. "There. Im not a stranger anymore, now please tell me?"
A small chuckle broke trough her rose lips. "Well Nick, My name is Emily Marie Whitmore, and i`m afraid that telling me your name and your hobbies barely passes the stranger test. Im sorry, you`re going to have to try harder than that"
"Are you going to be here tomorrow?" Nick asked, Emily bopped her head up and down as the bus stopped infront of them. Emily stood up and stepped onto it. "Well, it's a date then" The bus door closed shut and drove away.
The next morning, Nick woke up earlier than he usually did and walked down to the nearby Starbucks. He purchased two grande hot chocolates and made his way to the bus stop.
Just as expected, Emily was sitting there by her lonesome writting away in her notebook again. Nick took a seat next to her and handed her a cup of hot chocolate.Emily quickly shut "Are you feeling better this morning?"
Emily laughed again and dropped her pencil on her lap. "You just don;t give up, dont you Nick?"
"Not just yet" Nick laughed back. "Now, tell me Emily why were you so upset yesterday?"
"It's going to sound stupid" Emily sighed and took a sip of her drink.
"Well, Im listening" Nick replied making Emily smile.
