Chapter One.
Baby, you’re the only thing that’s been on my mind.
She listened to the message again, only this time she jotted down his number on a vibrant green sticky note. And soon after that she left the office for the night. At home, she was greeted by her small tabby cat, Jude. Taking note of his slight weight gain. She went into her room and changed into her pajamas. At four in the morning, there was bound to be something good on. Maybe infomercials.
-In the morning.-
All night she tossed and turned thinking about Joe’s message. After waking up, she was thankful for her day off so she could catch some extra sleep later. And she didn’t have to go back to work after someone had called her, because no one did. She was off until Monday, unless Ted needed her for something. Morgan sat down at the kitchen table with a bowl of Fruit Loops while Jude laid under her chair.
“So, how was work?” Michelle asked as she seated herself down at the table with some oatmeal.

Morgan glanced around the room for a quick second, her eyes were instantly drawn to the vibrant green sticky note. Maybe she should put a little yield on that call. She wanted to, but it’d be nice to actually talk to Joe without Kyndra. Plus, what if it was important or something.
“I’ll be right back.” Morgan went over to the vibrant green sticky note then to the phone, abandoning her Fruit Loops for the phone to talk to a boy instantly. But, hey, maybe I’d do the same.
“555-2332.” She mumbled to herself as she pressed each number. After two rings, he finally answered.
“Hello?” He sounded tired.
“Joe? It’s Morgan.” She told him ,it ought to be enough for him to recognize even if it was only nine-thirty in the morning.
“Oh, hey, can you hold on for a second?” Joe said, he sounded extremely happy to hear her voice, but something was telling her that Kyndra didn’t know he was talking to her again.
“Yeah.” She smiled to herself. She liked the familiar sound of his voice
