And just like i promised here's the next ch.I would have had it on last night but my dad put a thing on my comp so that the Internet shuts down after 11.:(...Sorry it's so short but I'll get on sometime later today and start a new ch.
Chapter 2
~Emily's POV~
I sighed a little as I stood behind the counter at starbucks,it was another quiet day,I was looking through a magazine while Lanie was standing leaning against the counter talking to me about the concert we would be going to the next day.She had some coffee as soon as we got to work so she was hyper and talking really fast.
I laughed a little and shook my head at how she would be great for Joe considering he was just as hyper when he was younger,he was always getting himself into trouble when he went out with Kevin and I.
"What's so funny?"Lanie asked as she looked back at me.
"I was just thinking about how you liked Joe and the fact that you two would probably make really good couple."I said"I mean even though I haven't seen him in forever."
"You really think so?"She asked her eyes lighting up just at the mention of Joe's name.
"Yeah I do."I said with a little smile,I quickly looked up as the little bell on the door went off indicating that we had a costumer.
A boy that looked about fifteen came walking up to the counter,he had black curly hair and he wore sunglasses so I really couldn't tell what his face looked like.
"Hey welcome to Starbucks what can I get you?"I asked with a small smile as Lanie got up off the counter and watched the guy for a few minutes.
He smiled a me a little"Yeah I need three Caffè Vanilla Frappuccinos."He said.
I nodded and told him how much he owed,he paid and I went to help Lanie as she fixed them.
"You know he looks really familiar."She said as she fixed one of the Frappuccinos.
"Yeah I know."I said as we finished up and I handed them to him"Have a nice day."
"Yeah you too."He said smiling as he headed out the door.
~Nick's POV~
Man that girl looked so familiar.
I had gone to on a Starbucks run for Kevin,Joe and dad.I walked back onto the bus and handed them their Frappuccinos before I took my sunglasses off and sat down.I looked down at the picture of Kevin and Heather that was lying on the table.I picked it up and looked it over.
That was her at Starbucks.
"Uh Kevin."I said as I looked up at him.
"Yeah?"He asked.
"There was this girls at Starbucks."I said.
"Was she cute?"Joe asked butting into the conversation.
"Well.......uh."I said as I looked back at Kevin he was waiting for me to finish what I was saying"I think it was Heather."
Kevin stopped what he was doing as he looked back at me.
"What do you mean you think it was her?"Kevin asked.
"She looked so familiar."I said"And then I saw this picture and realized that it was her."
Kevin got up from his seat and grabbed his jacket as he headed off the bus,none of us asked where he was going because we knew.
"Well I hope he doesn't find her."Dad said.
"Why wouldn't you want him to find her?"Joe asked raising his eyebrow.
"Your mom talked with Heather's mom and she was supposed to be coming to the concert tomorrow."He said"We were planning on surprising him for his birthday."
"Sounds pretty awesome."I said with a smile.
~Emily's POV~
"This is going to bug me."Lanie said as we walked towards the back to get our stuff since it was the end of our shifts.
"What is?"I asked as I put my jacket on and grabbed my messenger bag.
"Not knowing who that guy was."She said as she put her jacket on and grabbed her backpack,we headed out to my car.
"I'm sure it wasn't anybody we know."I said as I started the car and the Jonas brothers came blasting out of the speaker.
"So are we headed to the mall?"Lanie asked as I drove down the road.
I nodded my head,Denise wanted us to dress up fancy because we would be going out to eat somewhere fancy after the concert.As I drove down the road I thought about the guy that was at starbucks,then it hit me and I slammed on my brakes because I almost ended up running a red light.
"Are you ok?"Lanie asked"Or do you need me to drive?"
"I'm fine but I just realized who that guy was."I said"It was Nick."
"Oh my Jonas you've got to be kidding me."She said jumping up and down in her seat"What if he knew it was you and went to tell Kevin?"
I didn't answer as I pulled into the parking lot because I knew that if he had told Kevin then it meant Kevin knew that I was here and he might come looking for me.
~Kevin's POV~
I walked as quick as I could to starbucks,I was halfway there when two girls came walking out of Starbucks and got ito a car,I watched as they drove off and I sighed.
I hope that wasn't her.
I reached the door to Starbucks and I walked in heading towards the counter where a boy about my age stood.
"Can I help you?"He asked.
"Yeah I'm looking for Heather."I said hoping he knew who she was.
"I'm sorry dude but you just missed her about five seconds ago."He said.
"Thanks anyway."I said sighing as I headed back out,guess that was her and if so she sure did grow up well in the last six years.
I headed back towards the bus.
~Emily's POV~
I looked around trying to find the perfect dress while Lanie helped me she already had something perfect to wear at least that's what she had said.I sighed as I looked through the dresses I wasn't even sure what I was looking for I just knew it had to be something that would make me look really good for Kevin.
"This one's perfect."Lanie said as she smiled at me and held it up.
"You know I hate strapless dresses."I said as I continued to look.
She pouted her lip out as she held it up.
"At least try it on."She said"You never know unless you try."
I looked at it once more and sighed.
"Fine."I said as I took it from her and went to the dressing room.
She smiled and followed me.
I put the dress on and then walked out so that she could see me.
"Girl you have to get this dress."She said as she got up and helped me zip it up the rest of the way"Once Kevin sees you in this he'll fall in love."
I bit my lip as I looked at myself in the mirror,it looked really good.
"Alright I'll get it."I said"But I'm going to wear a jacket on it during the concert."
She smiled as she sat back down and I went to go and change back into my clothes so that I could buy the dress.
