Ok, so I'm going to post the next chapter and see if you all comment again! Because...because..I don't know why.
Chapter 4:
Kellie woke up immediately the next morning when her alarm went off. She slipped into a pair of dark wash skinny jeans, layered tanks, and a pair of flip flops, grabbed her bags and walked downstairs.
“Mom, dad?” She called at the bottom of the stairs.
“We’re in here.” Kellie walked back to the kitchen to see her parents and the Jonas’ sitting around the table.
“Oh, hi!” Kellie said looking straight at Nick. Her parents explained how they and Mr. and Mrs. Jonas were going on a little vacation and they were taking Frankie with them. They all agreed that Kevin and Joe were old enough to take care of everyone.
“Great, so are we all ready to go?” Joe asked standing up and stretching his arms over his head. Everyone nodded and Kevin grabbed Kellie’s bags. The five kids walked out to the bus with the parents watching from the front porch.
Once everyone was settled into the bus Nick and Kevin plopped themselves down on the couch and Joe sat at the kitchenette. Kellie stood awkwardly next to the couch.
“Sit down, make yourself comfortable.” Kevin said patting the empty space beside him. Kellie stiffly sat down and crossed and uncrossed her legs trying to get comfortable. Something just…didn’t feel right.
“So…who’s sleeping where?” Kellie asked looking to where the bunks usually are on the bus.
“Oh…um, Joe who’s sleeping where?” Nick stuttered. Joe sighed.
“Nick is gonna sleep on this pull-out…” Joe said gesturing to the couch they were sitting on.
“Kevin is gonna sleep on the pull-out in the back….” He continued.
“And…you and I are gonna share the double bed in the back room.” Joe finished. Kellie felt her face turn red at the thought of sharing a bed with Joe Jonas.
“Oh, ok.” She nodded.
A few hours later the bus had been parked at Madison Square Garden for a while and everyone was walking around New York City. They stopped in one store or well…Nick dragged them into it.
“This, place, is, AMESOME!” He exclaimed looking around at all the racks of vintage concert tees, skinny jeans, and jackets. Nick and Kevin walked around looking through the racks leaving Joe and Kellie alone by the door.
“So…how do you like being on tour so far?” He asked looking down at her.
“It’s pretty cool!” She said looking up into his deep brown eyes. They both stood there, staring into each other’s eyes for what felt like years. Just another thing Joe missed about her. Kevin and Nick finally walked up to the register, arms full of clothes. The four of them walked out of the store and down the block. Joe and Kellie, side by side.
