Chapter 1

I looked out at the rapidly passing landscape, each tree covered in snow. The sky was gray; more snow was expected today. Joe came and sat next to me, passing me a cup of hot chocolate.
"What are you thinking?" He looked at my face, puzzled.
"How much my life has changed since we met."
It was true. I was still in shock that my best friend and boyfriend happened to be Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. I had hated them with a burning passion and my sister had loved them. And yet here I was. Sitting, drinking hot chocolate with Joe on the tour bus.
"For better or worse?" He sipped, getting a dot of whipped cream on his nose. I giggled, wiping it off and eating it.
"For better, of course."
In the past few months, I had grown close to the boys. Kevin's girlfriend, even. We were one giant family.
"Good." Joe kissed me lightly on the cheek.
I stared into the sky as snow began to fall, the sky turning darker as the sun set.
"Snowfall sunsets, wow. These are different." Joe took my hand in his, which was warm.
"Yeah." I shivered.
"C'mon."
We abandoned our drinks for his bunk, which I climbed in first. We pulled the curtain closed and I snuggled close to him as he covered us up with a blanket.
His warmth radiated and I quickly fell asleep, dreaming of all the things this tour would bring me.
I'm pretty sure I smiled in my sleep.

Chapter 2

I woke up, wrapped in Joe's muscular arms. I smiled as I looked into his peaceful face, a rare sight for him. I looked at my cell phone. 5:52. Great.
My schedule had been permanently altered last week, with three 5:30 wake-ups followed by four 3:00 ones.Today was an off day, a day for Nick and Frankie to catch up on schoolwork and Joe, Kevin, and I to shop. We were in a tiny coastal town north of Boston, a place I had been to once with my aunt Carol.
Denise came to the bunk, poking Joe, whispering 'Wake up' into his ear.
"Narrrrghh!" Joe turned his head back to his pillow, folding it over his exposed ear.
She looked at me expectantly. I nodded in reply.
"Joe," I said, audibly, "honey, wake up, today's our day off."
His eyes opened and he smiled. "Hey, beautiful."
I blushed, still unused to his compliments.
"Where are we today, anyway?" He yawned and streched as much as he could before stepping out of the bunk.
"Uh, Gloucester, I think. I came here one day in the summer years ago." My mind wandered. "There are lots of great beaches and a working waterfront and..."
My shpeal was stopped by Joe's soft lips on mine, and I melted. After a moment, we pulled apart.
"I'm gonna shower," he said, making his way towards the bathroom.
"DIBS!" he screamed, shattering the morning peace.
Ah, Joseph.

Chapter 3

I stepped into the winter air with Joe, his hand in mine. I smiled as his cheeks turned red from the wind of the ocean, today a deep blue.
"Wow. Gorgeous out here." He took in the landscape around our tiny hotel on the coast. He saw me huddled from the cold and took me into an embrace. Kissing my hair, he said, "Let's go out today. The town is our..." I watched him rack his brain for a word. "Oyster, I guess."
I chuckled. He led me toward our rented Prius and held my door open for me. Slipping into the driver's side, he crossed to the passenger.
"God, I hate this. When will I get my liscence?" He laid his head in his hands.
"When you can drive without being a danger to all of us, not just you."

I parked in front of a pizza parlor called Leonardo's. "I'm craving pizza," I said as an explanation.
"Okay, let's get some."
After we had strolled around the back shore, hand in hand, admiring the crashing surf, we had gotten hungry. And he (or she) who has the keys gets to choose.
We stepped in, inhaling the aroma of cheesy deliciousness.
"HOLY CRAP! IT'S JOE JONAS!" A chubby-ish girl of maybe 13 ran up to us. I should've been prepared, but the jealousy ate away.
He signed an autograph and took a picture as I was shoved off to the side.
The thing is, when you're dating someone hot and famous, you tend to get to watch from the sidelines.
When the chaos was done, I slid back into my position next to him. "Sorry," he whispered in my ear.
"Extra large cheese, please." I handed the cashier a twenty and even got some change back.
We took a seat in the back as we waited for our pizza.
"It gets really crazy sometimes, Joanna, and I'm so glad that you can handle it. 'Cause I love you more than anything." His eyes bored into my skull.
It was a genuine moment, one where the honesty and intensity was evident in his voice.
"Joe," I said, as serious as I could muster. "I love you immensely. And now that I've had just a taste of your love, I could never go back to anyone else."
It was an odd way to declare your love, over a tiny table at a crowded pizza parlor, but it was amazing just the same.
We kissed, not letting it get to intense for the sake of the people surrounding us. But passion was evident.
When we pulled away, the kiss still lingered on our lips.
"Pizza," the man called to us.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE leonardo's pizza, best pizza ever. and it really is that cheap. mmmmmmmmmmmmm........ hope you like it!

i'd like to thank all of my readers, old, new, and soon-to-be readers on this really hard day. as you all prolly know, my friend chris committed suicide jan. 16th. it was really hard on all of us, and today is his 16th birthday. i'm having a hard time coping and just knowing you guys want more story is helping me get through the day. so thanks a million. :)

Chapter 4

Stomachs full of wonderful pizza, we walked down the main street. Eye-catching signs proclaimed 'OPEN' from a diner window. The diner was actually an old diner car from a train.
"Cool," Joe and I said together.
We walked into the music store, aptly named 'Gloucester Music'. An old woman with extremely long gray hair welcomed us.
"Could you point us to all of the old records?"
"Ah, for those, I'd say Mystery Train up the street. We don't have much in the vein of vinyl. It's lost on the youth of this town." She sighed.
"Thanks," Joe said appreciatively, and we walked out and towards the Mystery Train. I made a mental note of a cute cafe and a bookstore.
The store was, in the best way, groovy. You could tell that this store catered to the people with good taste in music. I headed over to the B section and pulled out multiple records in pristine condition, all Beatles.
"Awesome!" Joe ran over and looked at each one. "We don't have any of these on the bus," he said, dragging me to the checkout counter.
We handed over the bills, satisfied with our purchases, knowing Nick, Kev, and even Frank the Tank would be happy.
My cell began to vibrate. It was Sammy.
"Hey, Sam. What's up?" I put her on speaker.
"Not much, you?"
"We just got some ah-mazing Beatles vinyl!" Joe sounded like a little kid on Christmas.
"Ahaha, that's great! And how's my PKevs?"
"We don't know. We abandoned him this morning." I had no problem with honesty around her.
"Okay, I'll try his cell again." We heard her sigh.
"Love ya, Spam!" I hung up as we walked into the bookstore.
It was empty, the staff in the back room.
Joe pulled me behind the shelves.
"God, you're beautiful," he said passionately.
