Aint No Other Man

 Emily dragged around the house in her victoria PINK pj's. Her boyfriend Nick was no where to be seen. Well thats what Emily called it. He was really just on tour. She hated the fact that they where apart for more than a day let alone months. She grabbed her ice cream and sat on the couch flipping through the poitnless tv shows.
 She jumped when her phone buzzed off. It was a text message from Nick. Her face brightend and her her heart felt whole again. Even though they had just spoken a few hours ago. It read: " Get on computer."
 Emily felt confused as she reached for her slim white macbook. She clicked it on and there was no sin of what Nick was talkin about. Her phone buzzed again. Nick.: " please set up the video chat."
 She silently laughed as she set up the equipment. Once intact the vidoe invatation popped up. It was from Nick ofcourse. Without a second though out what she looekd liek she excepted. She smiled as Nick appeared with Frankie in the back ground bouncing off the walls. Nick's smiale faded when he saw Emily.
 " Em. You dont look so good", He said concerend. Emily shrugged. She muttered under her breath.
 " Thats cause your away", She whispered. Nick leaned in and cupped his ear.
 " What was that", He asked with a smirk. Emily rolled her eyes letting out a small but strangled laugh.
 " Nothing", She replied.
 " Em, I really do miss you. Alot". He sai sincrerly. Emily felt like she was going to cry. So she nodded her head while still looking down, playing with her thumbs. She bit her lip as the silence continued.
 " I have to go em", Nick said. His face set in a pout. Emily nodded her head without a goodbye and shut the computer down. She thought if she kept looking at him it would make there time apart even harder. She layed down across the couch looking at the cieling. Then a knock came at the door. Em got up silently and walked to the door. She ruffled her hair a bit and opened the door. Her eyes grew wide and her lips spread into a bright smile.
 " NIck", She screeched happily towards the curly head boy infront of her. He hugged her tightly kissing the top of her head. He swung her around few times.
 " I couldnt leave without doing one thing first", He said. Emily looked at him. She racked her mind for what he could have forgotten.
 " I thought I packed your undeerwear and socks", She said. Nick laughed and took Emily's left hand. He stared into her face before dropping down onto one knee. Emily took in one sharp breath and stopped breathing.
 " Emily will you marry me", Nick asked. he looked nervous and had a glint of hope in his eye. She froze she was in such shock.
 " Yes", She whisperd finally. He smiled a bright smiel as he slipped the blue 8 carrot diamond ont her left ring finger.
