I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm feeling like I'm in a mess right now.. and on Nick's birthday too. <3. Ugh. I am in desperate need of a hug. And someone to talk to.. things right now for me.. are just messed. =/
I Can Wait Forever
poem oneshot
Scars can heal, but they'll never go away,
Just like my memory will never forget the day.
Everything I do,
Seems to remind me of you.
She ran a smooth finger over her many scars that were slowly beginning to heal after three years. Her boyfriend and father had gave them to her. It was as if they had taken turns beating her each night. No matter how hard she begged, they would keep on doing it. Harder everytime.
It feels like I'm going insane,
I can't bare it, this pain.
I can't lie, I want to die,
I guess I need to say good-bye.
Do you know how many times she's tried to run away? She lost count after ten. But everytime she tried, she'd have no where to go and no one to go to. They'd always find her and drag her home. All those nights when they were busy she'd cry herself to sleep or look outside her window wishing on that same single star every night. Wishing for the same thing over and over again.
Her soul bleeds and tears,
But nobody cares.
She's fading slowly fading away,
Day by day.
Those millions of tears she sheds everyday and everynight never seem to stop falling. Her friends want to help, but they're afraid to. She's been to millions of guidance councillors, each of them unable to get a real story out of her. Her ex boyfriends have all tried to help, but yet again, it's failed. Not even that curly haired dark chocolate eye colored boy could help her.
Those laughs and taunts ringing in her ears,
Her hapiness fading making room for her fears.
But she belives, and can wait another day,
Until one day it takes her too far, her final day.
Three years later, at age eighteen, he is the only one at her grave. He lays a single rose, her favourite flower, by her stone and bows his head in honor. She was a brave soldier he was sure he was never going to forget. Sure, everyone seemed to forget about the girl. Afterall, it was three years after her death. She wasn't going to be missed by the world. So why bother. But she was special to him. And she'd always have the biggest piece of his heart.
