Chapter 2! Yay!
Joe's POV
I walked out the door I saw Taylor run out of. She was sitting on the ground crying. She didn't notice I came out.
"Hi! I'm Joe! What's your name?" I said enthusiasticly. I made a mental note to slap myself for that later. She just looked up at me. "What's wrong?" I asked, sitting down next to her.
"I just saw my date kiss another girl." She said simply.
"Well that's no fun!" I said. She just kept starring at the ground.
"I thought this night was going to be perfect." She said. "I've been majorly crushing on him since 5th grade."
"Oh. Well I've been crushing on a girl for a while now too. I don't even think she knows I excist." I said.
"I bet she does. Most people know most people around here even if they don't talk." She assured me.
"Really?" I said. The blonde guy came running outside.
"Taylor, I can explain-"
"Save it, Bryce. Don't waste your breath." Her icy words sliced the December air.
"Taylor I-" he started. She stood up.
"Just leave me alone." She walked away. He stood there for a moment, confused. I bet he was the kind who was used to having any girl he wanted. He finally walked back inside. Taylor walked back over to where I was still sitting on the ground. We talked a little more. I found out that the girl he kissed was Emily, the mean girl of school. Finally, Kevin came outside.
"I've been looking everywhere for you!" He said.
"You found me." I replied standing up. Taylor stood up too.
"Me and Charlie were gonna leave and go get some ice cream. So come on unless you can find another ride home." He said. Sure enough, here comes Charlie. I turned to Taylor.
"Well I guess I'll see you at school Monday." I said.
"Okay."
"Here give me your phone." I said. She pulled out her Blackberry and I typed in my number.
"If you ever wanna talk, I'm just a call away." I said handing her her phone back.
"I'll remember that." She said.
Now to go enjoy some chocolate marshmellow ice cream. With no pointless drama.
