Chapter 5
When I woke up Brooke was sitting on my bed making weird faces at me. I jumped out of my bed and hit the floor with a loud thump.
"Geez! Why did you do that!!" I tried keeping a straight face, but I started laughing. Brooke started cracking up.
"You got to hurry up and get dressed! We have to head down to the cafeteria so the counselors can put us into our Backwoods group."
"Our what group? Does this involve thinking at all?" I asked her. Brooke knows everything about the camp and how it works.
"Well, the counselors put us into twenty different groups. For each age group of course. There are four different teams, North, South, East, and West. Those all have twenty or something groups and five people are in each group," Brooke talked on and on while I was getting ready. Surprisingly, this sounds like fun, but what do I know. Then again, Brooke said groups, what about Nick?
"I just hope you and me are in a group," I told Brooke. She agreed and wanted Nick and Joe in our group also.
"Even though they might be in our group, we can't share tents. The counselors will still separate us like it is right now," Brooke gave me more info.
Brooke and I walked over to the cafeteria and sat down at a table waiting for the counselors to start speaking. He explained the same rules that Brooke told me about then he started reading off the names.
"For our last group on the North team. Melissa Ashby, Brooke Dickens, Nick Jonas, and Joe Jonas," I looked at Brooke in astonishment. Her eyes went completely wide. "Oh and Calli Nag."
"Who's Calli Nag?" I asked Brooke. She hung her head down.
"It's that girl who kicked dirt on you last night. The bleach blonde mini skirt," Brooke told me. I just stared at her. As if this was just a joke. Brooke's expression didn't change at all and that was when I knew she was serious. I banged my head against the table and sighed. This is just like group projects in school.
After two hours of sorting every person at camp, Brooke and I headed down to the lake. We didn't have to start the stupid group thing until tomorrow. I just can't believe Miss Nag is in my group.
The lake water was very calm and little kids had their floaties on and everything. They were so cute!
"I just can't believe we are in a group with...Nag-," we both heard shouting in the distance.
"Hey Missy! Can't wait for tomorrow!!" Nick yelled. He was at least twenty feet away. I looked at Brooke and she shooed me off to go talk to him. I ran over to him.
"Hey Nick!," I tried my best not to pant in front of him.
"There's going to be a camp fire later tonight and I wanted to ask you if it would be okay if you wanted to hang with me."
I'm pretty sure my face lit up when Nick asked me this. I nodded my head over and over again letting Nick know that I definatley was okay with this.
"You can bring Brooke too if you want. I'll bring my brother Joe and all four of us can talk! How's that sound?" Nick grinned.
"That sounds great! I'll let Brooke know!" Before I started walking away Nick gave me a quick hug.
"See you then!" he let go and waved. I ran back to Brooke and explained to her about everything. When I mentioned Joe's name she flipped out.
Just eight more hours till seven o'clock! I cannot wait!!

This chapter I'm not exactly happy with. I'm at my dad's house and I left my notebook with all my ideas for this story at home. I just have to say that this chapter is more of a filler for now. Next chapter I promise is really going to begin this little Nick FF! And of course it will bring drama!
